"Harry, that was my foot!" Hermione whisper-yelled, wincing as Harry clumsily stepped on her foot.

"Shh— do you want to get caught by four angry boys?" Harry chuckled, grabbing her waist to steady himself as he slowly pushed open the door to the boys' dormitory.

Quickly, he scanned the bedroom, hoping that they were asleep— especially his best friend. If   Ron ever knew that he was sneaking a girl—particularly Hermione into their dormitory, he'd never hear the end of it. Hermione giggled, her soft voice sending chills against Harry's skin; he could listen to her laugh forever.

Silently, the two of them crept over towards his bed, crawling under the covers. Harry pulled the curtains around them, assuring that his girlfriend remained hidden from sight.

"Goodnight Harry..." Hermione mumbled, snuggling against him, her hand gingerly stroking the surface of his bare chest.

She could feel his chest rise and fall with every breath he took, sending a warm feeling throughout her. The brunette peered up at him through the top of her eyelashes, smiling; she was utterly and helplessly in love.

"Goodnight Hermione—" his deep and sleepy voice murmured in reply.

Hermione nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck, planting a soft kiss— or two— against his creamy skin. Her hand drifted towards the side of his face, caressing his cheek with the tips of her cold fingertips. He loved the feeling of her skin against his. He loved the way his skin burned from the feeling of hers. He loved the way it ignited sparks within him.

"Harry—" Hermione whispered, her hot breath clashing against his neck, causing the raven-haired boy to let out a strained sigh.

Harry hummed in response after gaining composer, his hand wrapping around her small body. He bunched her shirt within his hands, wanting desperately to pull her body closer to his.

"I-I love you..."

Harry's heart stopped.

No. He had heard her wrong.

"What?" He murmured, his face flushing a bright red color.

"I— uh, I love you, I do. I'm hopelessly in love with you."

He must've heard her correctly; there was no way he couldn't have. She was in love with him.

Harry beamed, turning his head to plant a passionate, but gentle, kiss against her forehead. His breath still shaky, bounced off her skin as he whispered the words that her heart ached to hear: "I'm so in love with you, Hermione."
