Hermione sighed, quickly grabbing her briefcase, a lively smile spreading across her face; for she was happy to return back to work, after her holiday break. She lightly tapped her wand against the doorknob, opening the door to her ministry office. However, upon opening the door, she frowned, noticing the bespectacled man sitting at her desk.

"What are you doing here?" He questioned, his deep voice radiating pure confusion, as it echoed around the room. Suddenly, he looked up, revealing his extremely attractive face; which seemed to make Hermione go completely insane.

"Excuse me? This is my office." Hermione snarked, crossing her hands across her chest to cover her annoyance.

His eyes slowly trailed down her body, smirking to himself, as he leaned back in his seat. "Well, pumpkin, it seems as if you have gone crazy. It clearly says "Harry Potter."

"Don't call me that-" She retorted, sharply glaring at him. "And no, this is my office, and I'll prove it to you." Hermione turned towards the door, pointing at the bronze plaque that used to have her name engraved in it.

"Darling, I'm not completely sure that I follow. Now, I have some important papers and presentations to prepare for, so if you could kindly leave..."

Hermione gaped, turning around to find that her name was indeed removed from the door, signaling that she had been replaced. "What?! I-I don't understand."

"Understand what? It's quite simple, love, this is my office, and now you are intruding on my privacy." Harry muttered, returning his gaze back to the immense pile of papers stacked on his desk.

"No, I don't think you understand! I'm the head of this department, Hermione Granger, and this is my office!" She said, raising her voice slightly, for she was beginning to become extremely agitated.

"Oh, so you're Hermione Granger..." He mumbled to himself, gradually gazing back up at her. Harry rested his hands behind his head, lifting his legs onto the desk as if he was purposely trying to vex her into oblivion. "Well you see, princess, when you left for your little "vacation," they hired someone to replace you."

"Vacation!? I was not on vacation! And for the last time, will you stop calling me those names?!" Hermione hollered, walking over to the desk, pushing his feet off, and taking a seat there instead.

"Sweetheart..." Harry smirked, his mischievous emerald eyes staring into her own brown ones.

"You're impossible!" She scoffed, glaring as he began to sort through the stack of papers on his desk. "What have I missed?"

"Listen...you've missed a lot, I don't have time to explain." He shrugged, grabbing a pile of about 30 papers, and folding them in his briefcase. "Now, if you kindly excuse me, I have a presentation to present, in five minutes."

"Presentation?!! You're literally doing my job!" Hermione sourly clamored. "Now, if you hand me the papers, I can go do the presentation, because I'm back now, and this was my job first!"

"Alright."

"See if you just stop being complicated- wait what?" She started, smiling when she realized what he said.

"I said 'alright,' here are the papers." He murmured, handing his stuffed briefcase to her. Just as Hermione was about to leave for the meeting, the door opened, abruptly causing her to turn away from Harry.
