"Harry?" Hermione anxiously called, quickly searching around for her best friend.
She entered the common room, gasping when she heard startling noises coming from the boys' dormitory. Hesitantly, she crept up to the dorm, hiding behind Seamus' luggage.
Her eyes quickly caught a familiar blur of fiery red hair, and she instantly knew Harry was there as well.
"I-I'm telling you, I'm fine!!" Ron stuttered, raising his voice slightly.
Hermione instantly gulped, peering around the corner to get a closer look.
"Ok, calm dow-" Harry bluntly started, stopping suddenly. The room briefly grew quiet, much to Hermione's dislike.
However, she began to wish the silence would come back as the room was now filled with gagging noises. Instead of caring, Ron casually shrugged, walking out of the dormitory.
The bushy headed girl swiftly sprinted over to her best friend who lay chocking on the floor. She bent down over him, wiping away the multiple tears that were dripping down her face.
"H-Harry..." Hermione croaked, gripping tightly onto his shoulders. She stood up, running over to Harry's luggage, and tossing everything out.
"Come on, where is it?" Hermione mumbled, dumping out the satchel full of potions supplies. Sighing, she grabbed a bezoar, hurriedly stuffing it down the boy's throat.
After a few seconds, everything faded into silence once more. "Harry!!" She exclaimed, rapidly shaking his body. Hermione didn't even bother to dry her face, as she watched her best friend slowly wake up.
"W-Where am I?" Harry softly murmured, carefully lifting up his head, and locking eyes with Hermione.
"Uh, Harry, you're in your dormitory." Hermione began, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.
"Dormitory?"
She frowned, laying his head on her lap. "Harry, are you sure your ok? I mean you were just poisoned..."
"What?" Harry asked quietly, befuddled.
A brief moment went by before Hermione realized what was going on. "Do you remember me, Harry?"
"Of course, I do...You're my girlfriend." The boy snickered, his hands finding their way to Hermione's waist.
Hermione gaped, her cheeks turning bright red. She opened her mouth to tell him that he had mistaken, but at last, Hermione couldn't seem to get any words out.
"Is something wrong, love?" Harry mumbled, caressing her cheek delicately. His words were full of so much emotion and love, and Hermione seemed to forget that he didn't mean anything.
"Everything's fine, don't worry about me." She breathed, shivering under his touch.
He chuckled lightheartedly, before reaching up and crashing his lips against hers. Hermione at first was slightly taken back from his sudden actions but soon got over her shock, kissing him back.
She grinned as Harry began to sit up, his lips never leaving from hers. Hermione wrapped her arms around Harry's neck, softly tugging at his hair.
"I love you, Mione." He muttered against her lips before connected them once more.
Hermione pulled away, sadly smiling at him, for she knew his words were just temporary. "I love you too Harry, so much...And I wish you knew that."
