You weren't quite sure how long you had been there. Every day seemed to merge together and genuine time keeping was practically impossible on a random island in the middle of nowhere. However, it wasn't a normal island. One of the surprisingly more normal and nicer things to find there were finding a hatch with Desmond hidden inside.
Granted the meeting was far from great, not that anything on the island was, especially the landing, however things were to change quickly. You and Desmond had soon realised you had a lot in common and gotten together almost instantly.
One of the bonuses of the hatch pretty much being Desmond's home, was the fact that generally you could get the place to yourself and it meant you wouldn't have to fend off the elements. Whenever one of you was on watch and was in charge of pressing the button it meant rarely anyone would come through the hatch, leaving the two of you to have some form of alone time.
Currently it was his turn to press the button meaning the was a high chance that for the next 108 minutes you had time to yourself without any cares in the world until the incessant alarm would sound to alert you of the job at hand. But in the mean time you had made your way to the bed for a mere intimate moment.
Like every other short moment of happiness, it was wrecked, and as with most things that were ruined on the blasted island, Sawyer was involved in it.
Limbs entwined, shirts removed, lips connected, a simple moment of intimacy was forced apart with push of the door that sadly failed to have a lock.
You pulled your lips away from Desmond's to see the blond smirking man in the doorway.
"Sawyer!" The two of you exclaimed attempting to keep your modesty with the bedsheets.
He seemed unfazed by the scene he had walked in on.
"Seems like a good morning," he smirked.
"What do you want?" You frowned holding the sheets to your bare chest as though your life depended on it.
"Well the doc was looking for you but I better tell him that you're otherwise occupied," he laughed.
A groan escaped your lips wishing that Sawyer could just disappear and leave the damned island, he had seemed to become the bane of your existence.
"Can you please leave?" You asked attempting to remain civil.
"Now why'd I want to do that?" Sawyer grinned. "You were putting on quite a show."
Desmond narrowed his eyes at him, wordlessly threatening the man.
"Fine. I'll go, but you better hurry it up, you're wanted. But seen as he's been here without company for some time, I can't imagine it'll last long," Sawyer smiled as he left the room only to poke his head back around the frame. "Enjoy."
As soon as he was gone you let out a sigh, falling back onto the mattress into Desmond's arms.
"I hate that man," you said bitterly.
"So do I," Desmond stated. "However I love you."
He leaned down to kiss you softly again.
"I should probably go, you know if I don't Jack will come looking for me himself," you muttered as his lips trailed across your jaw.
"I'm sure we have a short while," he offered with a sly grin.
You thought for a moment before throwing hesitation to the wind and locking your lips together ~*~
