There weren't really too many teenagers who lived near you, pretty much only two actually and you were now glad to have Alex as your girlfriend so that you actually had someone whom you could talk to about anything when you needed to.

You two had snuck out at night to go to lay out in one of the many large patches of grass that there was around your homes seen as your small community was pretty much in the middle of nowhere meaning nature wasn't hard to come by.

Really there wasn't much you could do. From the books, you had read, everywhere else in the world seemed to have many means of entertainment, but here all you really had was your books, so the best the two of you could do for a date was to lay out in the grass.

The air was bitter in the dark as the two of you lay amongst the slightly outgrown grass, hands linked and eyes concentrated on the dots of light in the blanket of the sky. Silence was reassuring and not really a concern over the lack of words between you but when Alex broke the silence between you, your eyes drifted from the stars to look at her.

"We are all made of stardust," she smiled softly. "Isn't that beautiful? We are all special and precious from the get go, how marvellous is that?"

You couldn't help but mirror her soft smile. You couldn't fathom how you could have gotten such an amazing girlfriend, however she didn't get an overly great selection pool due to the lack of people whom lived nearby.

"I admire your optimism," you whispered giving her hand a soft and gentle squeeze.

"It's impossible to not be optimistic with you here. Just being with you makes me smile."

Your cheeks began to become heated as they turned a dark crimson colour, being embarrassed by the fact that your girlfriend could be so nice.

"You're too sweet Alex," you smiled. "Honestly I don't know how I managed to find someone as perfect as you. Bloody hell, I love you."

She grinned leaning in to peck her lips to yours for a quick kiss.

"I love you Y/N," she laughed lightly. "I love being with you. I love that we have no worries or concerns. I love that our love is easy. I love everything about our relationship. I love you."

You playfully nudged her shoulder knowing she was being a little dramatic in how she described your relationship.

"Don't be so silly. You act as though I'm actually a remotely decent option," you said softly.

"Well you shouldn't doubt yourself," she stated. She hesitated for a second to think of a comparison. "You are like a star. Perfect and beautiful, and a lot more interesting than what people whom don't know you or understand you may believe."
