Kayla's a Death Eater

Chapter 31.

Draco's POV:

I had decided not to talk to her. Apparently, I would find out everything when we were at detention. But what was I was going to find out? She looked like she didn't know what he was talking about either. I was mostly hoping that whatever I was to find out would mean that we wouldn't have to write lines. I hated writing lines, I also hoped that Umbridge wouldn't find out because I didn't want to be kicked of the Inquisitorial Squad.

Charms quickly finished and I rushed off to detention. I got to Professor Snape's class and took a seat in the front. Kayla soon came in and sat down next to me.

"Draco, Kayla, you both know why you are here?" the professor asked.

"Because we were kissing in the middle of the night?" Kayla said.

"No, I needed a way to get you in the same room with me, without Umbridge . . ." he said.

"But what for?" I asked.

"Well, as you both know, you have been recruited as Death Eaters," Professor Snape replied. Kayla was a Death Eater too? How?

"Kayla, you are a Death Eater?" I asked her.

"Um, yeah, I just finished my first task this morning," Kayla replied.

So, that's what she was doing and why she wasn't in class.

"You have? Who did you kill?" Professor Snape asked. Kayla killed someone!?

"Pansy Parkinson," she whispered.

"Speak up, Hex!" professor Snape snapped.

"Pansy Parkinson," she repeated. Kayla killed Pansy...finally, it's about time someone got rid of her. But Kayla's now a murderer... and she has used the Unforgivable Curses. She could end up in Azkaban.

"Ah, very good," Professor Snape said cooly.

"Um, why am I here?" I asked since he hadn't really directed any of the conversation towards me.

"Since your father is one of the most trusted Death Eaters and, Draco, you have a large house, the next Death Eater meeting will be at your manor," Professor Snape told me.

"Oh, um okay?" I said in response.

"The two of you need to get very comfortable around each other. You will probably be spending an awful lot of time together and if you two are bickering all the time the Dark Lord will not be pleased," Professor Snape told us. "Although, from what I saw the other night I am sure everything will be fine. If any of you need to talk to me urgently about the Death Eater information, come into my class and just say D.E. I will be there right away."

"Okay," I said.

"Can we go now?" Kayla asked.

"Yes, but the next time I catch you out of bed there will be actual detention," Professor Snape warned.

We walked out of his class and I decided to ask something that had been bothering me. "Did you really kill Pansy?"

"Yes! And then I fed her to the mermaids," she replied.

"Wow, I am actually quite surprised. I never knew you could do something like that," I said truthfully.

"Well, watch it, I am dangerous," she pushed me to the wall with her index finger then left.

Wow, if Kayla stays like that she's going to be breaking all the boys' hearts, I thought as I walked to the common room.
