Chapter 60.

Kayla's POV:

I left ginny and Harry at there common room after Umbridge had sent me to escort them back to it.

~~Time skip to a month or so later~~

We were in potions. I couldn't be bothered listening to Snape as he bored me to death. Draco was going to be doing his task tonight. I could tell he was worried and nervous as he was on edge the whole day. He skipped a few classes which I skipped as well to make sure he was okay. I loved Draco and I didn't want him to get hurt. I really hoped he would be able to do it. If not I was told but snaps that he would do it to make sure things still ended the way the dark lord wanted them to. The plan was for me to let some death eaters in via the cabinet in the room if requirements. Rom there we would go to the astronomy tower and Draco would kill Dumbledore. I didn't want Dumbledore dead, but I certainly didn't want Draco or his family dead either.

"Kayla!" Draco snapped being me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I said.

"Why were you staring at that guy over there?!" Draco whisper yelled in my ear.

"What? What guy? I wasn't staring at anyone." I said confused.

"Don't lie!" Draco said.

"I am not, the only person I ever look at is you. Okay? I only stare at you." I said.

"Kayla, I can't be with you if you aren't going to tell me the truth." Draco said harshly.

"Draco, please I am being honest. I wasn't looking at anyone, I was thinking if you." I told him tears forming in my eyes.

"Kayla. We are over. You clearly have your mind set on other people."

The tears that had formed in my eyes fell. The only thing I could say was. "You butt-faced miscreant. I wasn't looking at anyone." I yelled and left the potions room. I ran into the Slytherin common room and say on the couch. I heard someone come from the boys side of the room over to me.

"Kayla, are you okay?" Blaise asked, he sat down beside me.

I pulled him into a right hug, explained everything and cried so hard my eyes felt like they were going to fall out. Blaise sat there and listened to me. I looked up at him to see what he would say. Instead he pressed his lips up against mine. I didn't pull away, I kissed him back. I didn't want to but I did.

"Blaise..." I started but was cut off.

"Kayla, will you be my girlfriend?" Blaise asked.

What was I supposed to say. I mean Draco just broke up with me, I couldn't go out with his best friend. Or could I?

".... Yes. I will be your girlfriend, on one condition, we tell everyone and we don't rush it." I say.

"Kayla, that is two conditions, but I agree to both of them." Blaise said.

I smiled and I felt his warm chocolate brown lips on my pinkish lips.
