Chapter 73.

Draco's POV:

~~~~Four months later~~~~

"Mr Malfoy, you are needed at the hospital!" my secretary said urgently.

I Apparated immediately and was in St. Mungo's Hospital. I rushed to Kayla's hospital room.

I walked in and was alarmed at the sound of a loud scream. I looked at the doctor and then saw a baby in Kayla's arms.

"She's a girl," she said happily. Her voice was rigged with exhaustion and pain, but she hid it under happiness.

"I told you so," I commented, walking up to see my baby.

"Next time it will be a boy."

"So you want another one?" I asked.

"Well, I want more than one. Being an only child is boring," she said.

"I know. I am an only child as well."

"Exactly. Do you want to hold her?" she asked.

"Are you kidding? Of course, I want to hold her!" I said, taking her gently from Kayla's arms.

The little baby reached out and held onto my index finger weakly.

"She looks like you, Draco. Her eyes are just like yours," Kayla said.

"She has your nose, though, and I am sure she is going to have long brown hair like your," I stated.

"Well, since you said she was going to be a girl, and you have been right so far, I guess I will take your word for it," Kayla agreed.

"Can we take her home now?" I asked.

"As soon as the doctor says we can," Kayla replied.

At that moment the doctor walked in. "You are free to go. Your baby is very healthy."

I took Kayla's hand and held the baby to my chest. We walked outside and saw a grey car waiting for us.

"One of your colleagues sent a Muggle car for you," said a nurse.

We nodded, hopped inside, and drove home.

The manor was nicely decorated, unlike before. The walls were now an off-white colour with accented walls in each room. In the baby's room the accented wall was purple. I set the baby down in her cot.

"What are we going to name her?" I asked.

"Crystal, because of her eyes," Kayla replied.

"I like it. It suits her." I smiled.

I had my arms wrapped around Kayla's waist and my chin resting on her shoulder. We were both looking down at Crystal, and Crystal was looking up at us with a cheeky grin.

"She is absolutely adorable, just like her mother." I kissed her neck.

"But she looks like you, so you must be adorable, too," she said.

"Very well, we are both adorable."

"Agreed."
