Chapter 35.
Evie's POV:
Once Ginny had finished eating, I took Draco to go out to Kayla's favourite tree by the Black Lake. We were careful to stay out of trouble for leaving the castle, and our excuse was that we had to ask Hagrid a question.
"This is the tree," Ginny said once we had arrived at the tall, climbable oak.
"Okay, thanks," Draco answered, studying the tree for a few moments. He seemed to want to climb it, as Kayla and I had done so many times, but he nodded and turned to go back to the castle.
"Okay, Draco, is that all you need to know?" Ginny asked, obviously curious and onboard with his plan.
"Yes, thank you." Draco didn't even turn his head to look at us. Instead, he kept walking.
"Okay, then, well, I have to go see Ryan, and I think you are going to go see Harry, so I will go," I said to Ginny as we walked together. I then followed Draco off to the Slytherin common room.
