Chapter 37.
Kayla's POV:
"Well, then, ask my boyfriend," I lied. I don't have a boyfriend, but I didn't want to kiss Blaise again.
"Your what?" Draco yelled. He got up all red faced with anger and left the common room.
I giggled, found Evie, and dragged her out of the common room. I had to tell Ginny and Evie what just happened. I assumed Evie didn't notice since Ryan was snogging her to death.
"Evie, did you hear anything that just happened in the common room?" I asked.
"No, was I supposed to?" she asked.
"Alright then, we need to find Ginny. I have to tell you something," I told her, pulling her away from Ryan.
When we reached the Gryffindor common room, Ginny was right by the fire snogging Harry.
"Why do I always come in when my friends are snogging their partners?" I asked. Evie took no notice.
"Ginny, Kayla needs to tell us something!" Evie said, grabbing Ginny by the arm.
"Guys, I was right in the middle of something!" Ginny said, annoyed.
"Whatever, I need to tell you something." We walked up to her room and sat down on her bed, closing the door. "So, I kinda told Draco that I have a boyfriend," I said quietly, wanting to feel proud but also sheepish.
"You idiot! Why would you do that?" Ginny yelled.
"Well, all the girls in the Slytherin common room were drooling over Draco and I got a bit annoyed, and then he asked if I was jealous, which I would never be. And then he told me to prove it and I didn't want to kiss Blaise again, so I told him to ask my boyfriend," I explained, telling them pretty much everything that had occured.
"You kissed Blaise? When?" Evie asked.
"This morning, pretty much for the same reason I said I have a boyfriend," I said.
"Bloody Hell, Kayla, you are an idiot. I will talk to you later, I need to do something with Ryan," Evie said, leaving Ginny's dorm.
"She is probably going off to snog him again," I told Ginny.
"Well, I need to talk to Harry, and then I have to go to bed because it is getting pretty late," Ginny said, ushering me out of her room. I left the Gryffindor area and started walking back to the Slytherin common room, ready to finally start on my Potions homework.
