No Yelling

Chapter 57.

Evie's POV:

Ginny and I knew what was going to happen at the Malfoy Manor. I mean, Kayla was going there. With Draco. Her boyfriend.

It was so obvious.

Kayla and Draco were definitely going to do you-know-what.

"Evie!"

My head jerked away from the fire at the sound of Ginny's voice entering the Slytherin common room.

"Yeah, Ginny?" I said, putting my unopened book down and walking up to her.

"Harry said that he wants to: one, go on a double-date with you and Ryan, and, two, work things out with Kayla. Do you know what that means?"

I looked at Ginny, confused. "Uh, no?"

"Okay, well, when I asked Harry, he said that Kayla shouldn't be dating Malfoy because he's a Death Eater, and then, according to Harry, he got after Kayla about that."

"What? Kayla never told me about that. Let's ask if Ryan knows anything," I said, leading Ginny out of the Slytherin common room to find my boyfriend.

"Ryan! Ryan!" I yelled.

"There is no yelling allowed in the hallways," the pink Professor Umbridge said, walking past me and Ginny.

I rolled my eyes and walked into an empty classroom. "Ryan! Ryan!" I continued yelling.

"What are you doing?" said the professor, turning around.

"Yelling."

"I said there is no yelling!"

"You said no yelling in the hallways. I'm not in a hallway, am I?"

"Detention!"

"Shit," I whispered to myself as Umbridge walked away.

"Evie! What the hell was that? You knew you were going to get detention!" Ginny scolded.

"Yeah, whatever. The pink witch can burn in hell."

"Come on," Ginny said, grabbing my arm to pull us out of the classroom. "Let's go find your boyfriend."

A few minutes and a lot of walking later, we found Ryan walking from the library back to the Slytherin common room.

"Ryan!" Ginny said, rushing up to him. "Do you know any information about Kayla and Harry's argument?"

"Hm? Oh, hi, Ginny. Yeah, I do. Basically, Harry thinks that Malfoy is a Death Eater, and Kayla thinks he's harmless. Harry highly disapproves of their relationship and got mad at Kayla for dating him. Kayla and Harry started yelling at each other, and that's basically all I know. I wasn't there, so the details might be slightly off."

"Thank you!" Ginny said. "Oh, and Harry was wondering if you wanted to go on a double date with Evie?"

"Oh, uh, sure. Evie?"

"I already said sure," I answered.

"Great," Ginny said, starting to walk away. She looked over her shoulder and said, "I'll see you guys on the Astronomy Tower tomorrow around eight."

"Okay!" I called out to her.
