Chapter 42.
Draco's POV:
"I love you Kayla!" I said, kissing her. She pulled away for a second.
"I love you too, Draco!"
We stayed at the picnic eating all the food. Since we didn't have anymore classes and tomorrow was the weekend, we stayed there until dinner.
When we got back to the castle, we went and sat down in the great hall. We sat next to eat other with our fingers entwined.
I wanted to stay like this forever. Kayla was the best thing that had happened to me.
We ate our dinner, but since she was right handed and her right hand was holding my hand, she ate with her left hand. I liked that she didn't want to pull her hand away so that she could eat, instead she used her opposing hand. We finished dinner and got up to leave.
Since we were still holding hands, people noticed. There were a few gasps but we didn't care. We loved each other. We walked to the common room.
"Pureblood," Kayla and I said at the same time. The door opened and let us in.
We sat down on the sofa and talked about everything. About Death Eaters, about classes, about Umbridge, and about Dumbledore. I had finally gotten my task. I really didn't want to do it. And I didn't want to tell Kayla, but I had to.
"Kayla, I got my task from Voldemort. I have to k-kill Dumbledore." I stuttered on the word kill.
Sure, I had killed an animal before, but Dumbledore, that was extreme.
"You have to kill Dumbledore? But why? And why did he choose you to do it?" she asked.
"I don't know. I will talk to you tomorrow, I am quite tired. Love you." I got up, planted a kiss on her head, and went to bed.
