Chapter 39.
Kayla's POV:
I finally finished my Potions homework. I hate how he always gives us so much. I slipped under the covers of my bed, and, of course, at that moment someone decided to knock on my door.
I opened up my door to see a tall figure with blonde hair.
"What's up, Draco?" I asked.
"Who is your boyfriend?" he asked.
"That's personal, we don't want anyone to know we are dating," I lied.
"Well, if you had a boyfriend, then you would tell me, right?" he pressed.
"Well, yes, but--"
"I knew it! You don't have a boyfriend because if you did, then you would have told me. You just said so," he said happily.
"Why should you care, it isn't like you and I are dating," I said.
"Why did you lie and say you do?" he questioned.
"I didn't."
"Yes you did, I know you did. Why did you lie to me?" he asked again.
"Because-I-hate-it-when-all-the-girls-are-swarming-over-you-so-yeah-maybe-I-am-a-little-bit-jealous-okay-happy-now?" I said quickly and quietly.
"I didn't catch a word of what you just said," Draco said.
"Fine! I said, 'I hate it when all the girls are swarming over you, so, yeah, maybe I am a little bit jealous, okay, happy, now?'" I said closing my door. He put his foot in front of it just in time before I closed it.
"Why didn't you just say so?" he asked.
"I don't know? You know me, I'm tough. I don't break and I certainly don't get jealous," I said.
"Everyone gets jealous, believe me, I would know," he replied.
"I will talk to you tomorrow, I am really tired. I am sorry I lied," I said shutting the door.
This time he didn't stop me.
