We are home but still, we are talking and making stories that Thranduil can't even talk to me for just a second. Until we had our dinner, still... We're not done telling stories. Thranduil is just silent and looking at us happily. Maybe he's not expecting this either. After the dinner, me and Lady Galadriel went to the garden to pass our time. There, she tells me a very shocking truth... And I can't accept it.
"I wish that you and Thranduil would really end up together. The two of you together look so perfect." She said smiling from ear to ear while looking at me.
"Yes, I think so too. I just thank God I did not make bad decision when I did let him in to my life." I said smiling. But as I said those words her facial expression turned from smiling to sad expression. I look at her curiously.
"... But, I am afraid that you will be parted. Just before you came, Thranduil was arranged to some elleth by his father and by the words I am hearing from the elleth's side, she will be visiting with her father here and talk about their wedding... To tell you the truth, I am thinking that you are going to fight for him... Or... Are you not." She said.
The every single words she said is going to my brain. Every single word.
That made me look at her in no time.
"H-He's g-getting married? I thought... H-how?" I said but it seems like I am talking to myself right now.
The things that I plan for us just fade away quickly in my head. I can feel tears began to flow in my face. I am not expecting this. I just can't believe it. He must have tell me about this before. He must be the one telling all of this and not from someone. I look at her with tears in my eyes. She's looking at me with sympathetic look.
"D-Did Thranduil k-know about this?" I said which is nearly a whisper.
"In what in know, the elleth's father gave a letter of notice to Thranduil. Did he not mention this to you?" She answered. I just shake my head as an answer to her question.
It is true. He didn't tell me everything about this not even a single word. I just cried their silently and I can feel Galadriel's gentle hands on my shoulder calming me down and comforting me.
"Did they saw each other already?" I ask again.
"They are at the same age, as far as I can remember and yes, they knew each other. When Oropher was still alive the elleth's father and mother are always came here during spring. I know because I used to come here during that time too." She answered. Well... Now that I already knew about the real business in Thranduil's life, I have to chose. Whether let him get married to that elleth or I am gonna fight for what I feel. Two choices that would both break my heart.
"What's her name?" I ask Lady Galadriel and she looks at me with puzzled look. Maybe she's thinking I am going insane that I am asking Thranduil's soon-to-be-wife's name.
"Oh... Uhhmm... Eluriel. That is her name." She said. Well... Her name not sounds so bad but still I am hurting.
"You know, I am going home after two days but... If you want someone to talk to about your problem... You can come to Lothlorien." She said smiling. I just gave her a weak smile. I think I'll think about her offer.
