On Your Side (Thranduil Fanfiction-- The Hobbit & The Lord Of The Rings) Part 1

Selfish..... no more

After my conversation with my husband, he was called by the other elven leaders to maybe talk about some things since they don't always talk with each other and see each other everyday.

"Do you still want to run away? You are married to him already." Lady Galadriel suddenly said which I did not notice that she's near.

"I don't know. As for now, I am still curious if I still continue it or what. We just got married, Lady Galadriel, I don't know. I really don't know." I said as I shook my head.

"The decision will always be in you. Whatever your decision is, me and my beloved husband is here to help you." She said and smiles at me. I answered her smile with another sweet smile and a hug. I really like this elleth.

"Do you know that the elleth that he supposed to marry is here too? I don't know actually but I just saw her a while ago." She said as she sips  her wine in her cup. My head automatically turned to her when she said that.

"W-what's her reaction when she saw this?" I asked her. She looks at me then sighed and looked away.

"She looked hurt,you know. But, who cares right? It is you who he loves and not that elleth. It is alright." She said and pats my back. She is hurt when she saw us. I know that I as a human cannot bear a child of an elf. It cannot be and it is believed that it is a taboo for the elven culture.

"W-what if she's the one who can give a child to Thranduil. We all know that I am not fit to be in this position. I am human and I cannot bear his child." I said while looking at the ground. Lady Galadriel who are enjoying the party coughed suddenly.

"What did you say?" She said and stood in front of me.

"Can you hear what you're saying? You are human, yes but that doesn't mean that you cannot bear Thranduil's child, alright. You are different from simple humans. You are more powerful than other humans." She said. I just sighed and look up at him.

"But that doesn't change the fact that I am human, isn't it?" I said and that made her sit down.

"Alright, that really does not change the fact that you are human but that also cannot change the fact that you're married and having a child with him is natural." She said which made me shut my mouth.

"M'lady, I already made my decision. I made this decision with clear mind and not because I am hurt or something. Basing to what my husband are acting and the feelings of the elleth that was suppose to be in my position right now... If I need to become a selfish person, then I will be.." I said. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back at her. This for all so I have to do this.

So the time goes by I can say that me and Thranduil are happy in each others arms.  As of now, I am on my way going to the throne room to talk to Thranduil. I am kind of nervous and excited at the same time.

When I reach the place where I must go, I saw that he's talking to someone. He just stopped suddenly when he saw me. He smiled at me which I answered with the same manner. He let the person he's talking to and so with the guards.

"What can I offer you, my Queen?" He said while grinning. I'm kinda nervous about this thing, but i have to do  it. It is my wish to go out and go to other places aside from Erebor and Rivendell.

"Well... Uhmmmm..... Honey, can you do me something?" I told him. He smiles and nod.

"What is that?" He said. I smiled at him nervously.

"Uhhhmmmm... I-I want actually t-to go to an a-adventure..." I said and look at the ground.

"Well, that is not a problem. When do you like to start that adventure of yours. I can fix my schedule so that we can --"

"I want to go alone, honey. I-I want to find myself again." I cut him. He looks at me surprised. I hope he'll understand me this time. He always give what I want and needed but this thing is the only thing he cannot give me. Maybe he's afraid that I will not come back. I don't think I can do that. I know to myself that I will always come back for him and the people in this realm.
