"Gahahaha...!!" She laughed as she looked at me.
"You don't believe what you're seeing? Well... You should." She said and laughed again.
The woman in front of me is no other than my trusted maid in the palace. It is Yerathiel. I never thought she will do this.
"Eluriel is my sister, you know. She's my one and only family for our parents threw me away when I was young and even told me that I am a cursed wretch!... She's the only one who accepted me. But what did you do? You killed her!!! You-Killed-Her!!" She shouted. I jolted because of her loud shout.
I just stood there and look at her in shock. I know that not all people around are not good but I did not expect her to do this and that she's even Eluriel's sister.
"You don't know what you are talking about, Yerathiel. You know nothing about what happened back there." I calmly said. She looks at me with her poker face and cold stare.
"Oh... Is that so? Do you mean what I saw is not right? Is that it? I know what I saw! She's hanging in there but you didn't helped her! Instead? You get this stupid child! What is this child to you anyway? Your pawn when he grows up?" She said and smirks.
"No... Just give me the child, Yerathiel. You can do what you want... I will not stop you." I said and put my sword back to its scabbard.
"Of course you won't ... Because this day will be your end and the same with this child." She said and laughs evilly then points her sword at me but I did not do anything. She was about to strike me. I closed my eyes to somewhat ease the pain I'll be bearing when nothing came. Slowly, I opened my eyes.
"Stop this nonsense, Yerathiel. Give me my son." Thranduil said in a cold tone. I began to look at him beside me. His looks very serious.
"Why do you always believe in your stupid wife, Thranduil? She's a human, keep that in your mind. She is nothing!" Yerathiel said and grabbed me by my hair. I saw that Legolas is safely and silently sleeping.
"It is me that you want, Yerathiel. I am here now. You can do whatever you want to do to me. Just let Legolas go with Thranduil." I calmly said and looked at Thranduil. Thranduil on the other hand stared at me coldly.
Yerathiel looked at Thranduil and agreed.
"Alright. I guess I will still enjoy my time whole I'm here. It is still worth it." She said and grabbed my hair again and she put me in the other room of the ruined palace.
"Prepare yourself, lowly human. This will be the end of you. Since I am not like you, I will give you time to do what you wanted to do before I'll take your life." She said and sat on a chair. I just made a heavy sigh and began to put all my weapons away.
After I put my weapons in one place, I asked her if she can give my weapon to my husband. I just hoped that she'll agree.
