Her Ghost....

It's been almost a hundred years since she's gone and it is still fresh to my mind what happened and I am regretting that I did not go to Lothlorien to see her. I just received a letter from Lady Galadriel that she was already buried and that she and her husband are sorry for my loss.

"My Lord, I guess it is time for you to go." Gwendoin said. I just look at her and nod. If you are asking what's happening now? Well, I am preparing for the coming of my supposed-to-be-bride before, Lady Eluriel of Mandolin. She was the one who I supposed to marry if it is not because of Jannidriel. I don't like to replace Jannidriel but I understand that the kingdom needs a queen and a heir. Today is a day for the engagement. I guess I will just try to have fun, tonight.

"I'll be coming ... Don't worry." I said.

I went out just after she went out of the door.

As I went there, the event started. It is long and boring  but I still can tolerate it. After an hour if listening, it is already done and the party started. Since I am bored just by looking at the people dancing, I went to the garden to get some air. Even if I am here in the garden, I can still hear the loud music inside but not that loud. While listening to the music, I look at the sky full if star. I close my eyes when I remember, Jannidriel. I felt like I am cheating on her, but she's gone, isn't she? She's not going to get mad at me if I do this?

I just pushed that thought in the part of my head. I opened my eyes, and to my surprise,  I saw Jannidriel standing just a yard from me, smiling and beautiful as ever. She's wearing a blue dress which is a match to her pale colored skin and her hair became longer than before. I want to rub my eyes and ask if she's real but I am afraid that if I do that, she'll be gone again.

"How are you, love?" She said but I didn't answer. Instead, I just look at her. She's smiling at me sweetly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She said while chuckling but still, I am just looking at her. Since I did not respond to any of her questions, she came near me and holds my hand and stared at me with her eyes full of love and she's smiling sweetly at me.

"Darling, I came by to see you. You did not even came to Lothlorien to look at my body and I've been waiting for you over there to visit me there but you never came. And I guess, this will be the last time that you will see me." She said while tears starts to fall in her brown eyes.

"No, don't leave me again, love." I said and hug her tight.  Though I am puzzled why I can still hold her when she's just a spirit, I pushed that thought at the back of my mind.

"You're marrying Eluriel, darling. And one more thing, I want you to be happy," She said and hug me just the same.  "I am going to set you free just for this time, love. But remember, I'll always be around." She said. Just when she said that, I heard the voice of Gwendoin behind me.

"My Lord, they're looking for you. What are you doing here anyway?" She asked. I am about to look at Jannidriel but she's gone. Where the hell is she?

"I-I am l-looking for..." She cut me with her serious and cold voice.

"Looking for her? For Lady Jannidriel? You saw her too, huh... I miss he just the same My Lord. I can see her just the same. But every time I see her I keep telling myself that she's not really here... That she's gone." She said and look at behind me.  I don't know what she's looking from behind but I am sure  know that she's instructing "that something"  to somewhat go away so I turn and look at the back where she's looking but there's nothing in there. I turned back at her and frowned.

"Are you keeping something from me?" I told her. She just raise her brow when I told her that.

"Keeping something? How'd you say so?" She asked but I did not talk again. After that conversation, we decided to go inside already. I am still thankful that Jannidriel's ghost came to see me.
