I drove down to Jack's house with Billy in the car. I could tell he was sad by looking at him.
"Billy, what I said at the game.... I'm sorry."
"Just take me home okay. I don't need your stupid apology."
Gosh I didn't know he could be that devastated. I really didn't mean what I said. Literally. I wanted to celebrate with Jack at his house. But Billy wanted to go home. Then, I thought of something.
"Hey Billy, how bout we go to Jack's party and stay for only 10 minutes, then I can take you home," I said.
"I don't want to go to his house. Just take home."
"But it will be fun. There'll be drinks, awsome food, and dancing."
"Did you not hear what I just said? TAKE...ME...HOME!"
"But Bil-"
"You know what stop the car. STOP THE CAR."
I hit the brakes and put the car on 'Park'.
Billy opended the door and went out of the car. He then got out walked to the sidewalk.
"Where you going?" I asked.
"Home since your so eager to go to Jackass's house."
"Billy get in the car."
"Why should I?" He asked. "So you can party at Jackass house till you're drunk and pass out? Or because you finally want to be best freinds with you?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Peter, Jack doesn't want to be friends with a nerd. Yes he is stupid, but he's not president stupid."
What the actual hell is he saying? He doesnt believe that I can revive an old freindship with the most popular kid in school?
"You think Jack's being a fake freind?"
"Yes."
I couldn't believe it. The one freind that believed in me was now doubting.
"The only friend that's being a fake, is you."
I slammed my door and drove off not thinking twice regretting Billy to walk himself home. I didn't think about the party, or Jack. I didnt thought of Kailey and her mom. I just wanted to go home.
Sure I said I was going to Jack's party. But then I didn't felt like going after the argument with Billy.
I slammed the car and went straight to my house not saying a word to anybody. I then jump on my trying not shed a tear.
"Hey buddy," I said while patting my dog's head.
This weekend is going to be long.
I know i know...... I havent updated my book in a while. I was trying to think of a new chapter. But with SAT practicing and volunteering hours, I don't have a time to write.
HOPEFULLY I will start updating this boom ONCE a week. Since I'm traveling to Canada in two weeks, I'm super sure I will update alot.
So anyways, yes this chapter is SUPER short, but Ill promise you the new Chapter will be long : )
