"Good morning students. It is Monday, October 21st, and its a X day. Please rise as we recite our pledge of allegiance."

Saturday was the day that I had my first kiss. I could still feel the tingle and the shiver. I was staring at Mia the whole time during the pledge. Never thought I would kiss ger. Sure I had a crush on Kailey. She didn't matter right now or today. She turned around with her long gorgeous hair smiling at me. Neveah, as usual, look confused. Again, this girl looks like she's high.
"Since everyone did great on the project, said Mr. Garfield. Well most of you, you will have an open note test on our next unit."

The class cheered with students yelling and stomping the tables. "But first, we need to take a pop quiz." And....we're back to plain old Mr. G. "Are you serious?" Phil said.
"Does it look I have a sense of humor? The quiz will be twenty five multiple questions and 2 open response questions. Both of these essays should be at least ten sentences. This isn't elementary school where you write five. Clear of your desks so we can start."

The class groaned and slowly put their stuff in their backpacks. Never in my life had a quiz with short answers. Mr. G must really hate us.

After the medicore quiz, it was time for AP Literature. My favorite class next to robotics. Mostly because my favorite people were there. I sat behind Billy as always and next to Mia.

"Alright good morning everyone and happy Monday! Today we'll be reviewing our book Huckleberry Finn, and after reviewing you guys will have time to write your vocab for our quiz next class. Then after that , I will hand you the study guide for test on Friday. Any questions?"

Billy rose his hand. "Yes William?"

"Will the quiz be open note because I left my novel at home."

"William sweetheart, no. Please be responsible for your belongings. If you need a copy of the novel, grab one on the back shelf. Any other questions? Okay let's start reviewing the book, after I do attendence." Mrs. Henderson walked to desk to do attendence. I tapped Billy's shoulder. He turned.

"Billy, just because you left your book at home does not mean we should all take an open note quiz."

"I do have my book. I just wanted to see if she can because everyone knows I'm her favorite student."
"Sure," I said sarcastically.
"It's  true! Arav! Arn't I Mrs. Henderson's favorite student?"

"If you say so. Not everyone thinks you are."
"You know why did I even bother asking you?"
Arav shrugged.

Mrs. Henderson came back from the computer and started reviwing our novel, Huckleberry Finn. After reviewing we started writing our vocab for the quiz next class. The vocab was 60 terms. Although it was alot, I can't complain. Most of the vocab in Chemistry is about 90.

During our writing a student came in. She had red dye hair, a camera, and a lanyard saying 'Press Pass'. "Good Morning," she said.
"May I interview Peter Parker? It's for yearbook."

I got up from my desk and walk towards the door . She closed it, and asked a few questions.

"So Peter how are you?"
"Good I guess."
"So I heard that your new to the school and you became friends with Jack, Alex and the others. How did you feel? Were you afraid you wouldn't make friends?"
I stand there with confusion. "You think I'm new? I've been a student since freshman year."
"Oh I'm sorry. So what about the second question."
"Your good," I said intensely. "I mean I wasn't going to be sad. It's great to be friends with them most of the time. Nothing wrong with Kailey-"
"We know," She interupted.
"O..K.. But the rest of them are fine I guess. But I'm with them just for a bet."
"You're in a bet to be friends with them? Is it Cotton?"
"Unfortunately yes."
We both laughed. "So everyone in the school knows you now then before. What were your intentions or feelings?"
"Well let's just say that I would rather let people think I'm nobody then a somebody. It feels like everyone wants to know every move. Like to Mia and I thing. Or Kailey and I. It's not their business. It should be just our thing."
She was confused. "So you and Jack's girl have something going on? Or is it the new girl?"
"Nothing's going on. I'm just comforting Mia and Kailey and I are friends. Nothing past that."
She wrote it down quickly and appreciated me with the answers. "Good luck winning the crown," she said walking away.

Crown?

I went back to my seat and packed my stuff. Mia stared at me in disgust. "What?"
"So I heard you two were laughing outside. Is that your girl now?"
"Huh?"
Billy turned to Mia.
"I advise you to see a Otolaryngologist and the eye doctor. The girl that came in to talk to Peter is a journalist in the school. He hardly knows anyone except us and the popular idiots."
She widened her eyes and put her head down. She started to cry. What the hell is wrong with her?

"I am deeply sorry. I didn't mean to come in like that."

"It's fine no worries," I said. Billy turned to me with a confused face.

"Why would you think that ugly girl would date Peter?"

"Billy please."
She stopped crying immeadietly, and looked at Billy pissed.

"Atleast I'm not short and stubby."
"Atleast I'm not the one who gets abused."

"William!" I loudly whispered.
Mia was strucked. She got up and ran outside. I couldnt believe Billy would say that.

I ran after her until I felt a pain in my back. I slowly went onto the floor and dozed off.
