Monday

I parked my car and went out, walking towards the front of the school. After the dance on Saturday, everyone gave me much more respect. So many of them kept talking to me trying to be friends.

I walk to my locker till Billy stopped me.
"Why did you forget me? I was waiting for atleast 2 hours."
I opened my locker. "My dad found out I went to the dance. So I'm officially on house arrest till I graduate or when he trusts me."
Billy created a confused face. "What does that have to do with me? You can still pick me up."
"I can't. I'm only allowed to drive to school and work. If he or my brother founds out that I'm not in those places or home, he'll send me to boarding school." I close the door and walked to my chemistry class. Billy stopped me again as usual.

"How would they know tho? It's not like they're spying on you."

I rolled my eyes. "Since when did you become such a rebel?"

"I'm not. I'm just giving you tips."

"Thanks but no thanks. Not tryna risk it especially wtih my dad. I'll see you later tho."

"Okay." Billy left finally.

As I entered the classroom, a bunch of students started cheering for me. A bunch of them got up and try to handshake me.
"Whoo! Let's go Peter! Congratulations!" Students yelled.

I went to the back of the classroom to my seat I always sat since the beginning of class. Kailey came in with a smile on her face. It was like an goddess with beautiful teeth. She immediately walked down to the back and stood in front of me table.
"I this seat taken King Parker?" she asked.
"Why no Ms. Middleton. Or should I say, queen."
She was confused. " I thought Mia won."
I made a annoyed face. "She told me she cheated. Isn't that ficked up?"

"I mean it's just a crown. It's not like she was crowned in England."

"So, you think it's not a big deal?"

"Uh..yeah. Do you?"

My face turned red. "Um..no not really."

She starts laughing. "Peter, you know that anytime you lie, your face turns red."

"Nn...no."

She bursts out laughing again. "Kk..Kailey..please stop before Mr. Garfield gets pissed."
She stops slowly. "I don't care. What's he gonna do? Write me up for laughing?"
"Probably," I said.
The class bell rang and it was time for class. I noticed some chairs were empty. Neveah, and Mia wasn't here. I could care less about Neveah, but, where is Mia?

After the pledge, we sat down and I asked Kailey a question.
"Hey Kailey? Where's Mia?"
She turned towards me. "Mia went to see her father in Washington state. She'll be back Wednesday."
"How did she get a ticket?" I asked.
"Don't you remember? She lives with me. My father bought a ticket on Saturday when we came back from Homecoming. He saw her looking down and asked her if she would like to see her other family."

"Right. I forgot."

"Alright class, let's start our unit by watching an episode from 'Bill Nye'

"Hey Peter sit here!"
"Yo...Parker..congrats on the vote man. Sit with us."
"Peter! Sit with us!"

These are the students that didn't know me before, finally starting to recognize me. I didn't want to sit with them. I wanted to sit with my friends from the first day. But the populars demanded me to stay at their table. I know it's my right, but Kailey was there so I wasn't complaining.
