So most of you guys have been reading this novel since the first chapter which was published two years ago, when I was a Junior in high school, and I appreciate it really deeply. Enjoy the rest of the chapters : )

PS: You all should've already read chapter 27 about what happened to Neveah. If not, I highly recommended reading it please. We are now back to Peter's life.

I picked up my phone to call my dad. "Hello?" Dad answered.

"Hey Dad. I know you said I can't go to any places other than work and school, but you remember Jamal?"

"Yes I remember him. What about that boy?"

"He hasn't been going to school and I'm very worried about him. I wondering if I can go to his house, just for a short amount of time, and check on him. If that's okay with you."

"Peter, can I call you back? I have an important meeting to attend soon."

At that point, I already knew that was a nice way of saying 'no'. "Yeah sure. But what about-"

As soon I was about to finish my question, dad hung up.

"What the hell are we going to do now?" Billy asked.

"Fuck it, let's go." I headed out the front door and got into my car. Billy was standing right next to the passenger's door. "Are you not getting in or.."

"But you said you wont take that risk." "Yeah but then you said its not they're spying you. plus, its for a short amount of time. Immediately after we found out what happened to Jamal, I'll drop you off then go to work."

He went inside and buckled his seat-belt with fear. once he got in, I started the car then zoomed out of the schools property. it took about a few minutes to arrive Jamal's house. His home looked decent, a traditional single family house. I parked in front the house then got out. Billy closed the door softly, shaking, with goosebumps popping out of nowhere. I was curious, but didn't ask cause of time. When we got on the stairs, I ranged the doorbell then knocked the door three times. A few seconds after, Jamal's older, Rashaad opened. He made a annoyed face. "Again, what are you doing here little boy." He moved his head towards me and grinned. "Now that can't be THE Peter Parker. What are you doing here big guy?" We did a handshake.

"Well we're to see Jamal. Is he here?" As soon as I asked the question, he went outside to scan the front yard and driveway. He sighed heavily. "Mom and Pops ain't home. Come in."

Everything in the house looked old and bitter except the kitchen. It looked as if they renovated the room. New silverware appliances, caramel colored cabinets, and elegant marble counter-tops. We went inside and followed Rashaad to the breakfast area and sat down. "Before I tell you this, you must never tell anybody, I mean anyone. Understood?" We nodded our heads.

"Okay. It was two weeks when Jamal haven't been attending school much. Everyone in this neighborhood knew us as the 'perfect family'. People will send us gifts and prayers because we were that godly. I mean, we attended church every Sunday, bible study every Wednesday, and holy communion every last Friday."

"Makes sense since your father is the pastor."

"Yeah everyone thought we were godly all because of my pops. He thinks he is the answer to everyone's prayers. A lot of people from the country travel down here to see what our pops can do. So he can make problems into miracles with his fingers. But he can't solve his own sons, his own flesh and blood, problems? He mainly focuses on the church and how many people he can save, but never once did he pay attention to us. A few days ago, Marcus, our brother, got arrested for domestic violence and illegal drugs."
