Chapter 6: Warcraft Party

Kailey's POV

I felt really great studying at Peter's house. It was like home to me. I miss his father making corny jokes and Peter's big brother giving him a big wedgie. Tonight was the night I will never forget.

I drive to Jacks house. As I parked there was alot of people at his home. I guess his party isnt over. I got up from my car and went inside until my best freind Neveah stopped me.

"Where were you? I thought you said you were coming here then go home to study?"
I let out a breath. "Since when do you need to know where I'm going?" I asked.
"Look I just wanted to see if you're okay."

"Im perfectly fine Neveah. Now where's Jack?"
"He's in the garage playing beer pong with Alex."

I went in the house and let me say..... This place looked zombie infested. Literally. Guys were falling into the floor, girls were taking off their clothes, and couples just making out everywhere. It was disgusting.

As I got into the garage there were hundreds of people there. That makes sense since Jacks house is like a mansion. People were yelling 'BEER PONG! BEER PONG!' over and over again. I try to move to the front and see Jack. Jack saw me.

"Hey babe" he gave me a kiss. "Where you been? I try to call you and you didnt answer."

" No you did not. I checked my phone like ten times."
"Uh.. yeah I did. Forget about that. Where were you?"
"I was at a friend's house", I said.
"Which friend?"
"Um.. Peters."

There was silence. We looked at each other for 5 secs then he spoke. "Peter?" He laughed. "Yo Kails stop playing with me. Why were you at his house instead of this awesome party? Are cheating on me?"

"Why would I cheat on you Jack? And I was there to study for a test tomorrow."

"Whatever. Let's go and have some fun."
He grabbed my hand and took me to the stairs. I removed my hand from him. "If you think we're doing this tonight instead of talking, you got another thing coming."

The doorbell rang. Everyone was quiet. Alex came up to the front to open the door. "Yo Alex whose at the door?" Jack asked. " I invited these nerds from school. They think we have a Warcraft game party. I told them to wear there stupid outfits so they can like us."

Alex opened the door. I realized who they were. Jamal and Arav.

"Come on in. Don't be shy", Alex said.
The teens started laughing. Oh gosh I felt bad for them.

"Do you guys have your wands and your wizard hats and shit? Or maybe your swords and armies?" The teens laughed.

"Jack this isn't s not funny", I said. "Oh c'mon it is funny." I never realized how a jerk Jack is.

"You guys look pathetic. Get hell out of here you freaks."

Jamal and Arav ran off. I looked around and everyone was laughing. Even Neveah. I couldn't believe they really did that to them. I couldn't be here long so I went outside to go and leave. Suddenly, Jack grabbed my hand. "Where you going? You just came."

"Where do think? I'm going home Jack."
"Wait." He paused. "Can you tell me why you went to Peter's house?"
"Did you not hear a thing I said in the garage? I already told you. I went there to study for a test. And I wasn't the only ones. Billy, and the two boys that just ran off cause you did a stupid prank were there also."
There was silence.
"Kails I didn't know..."

"If course you didn't. You don't listen to anything I say. I've been telling you to have a conversation with Peter."

"What am I supposed to do? To say I'm sorry and we should be friends againagain?"

"Tell him the old freindship before what happended between you two. Then, apologize. That you were stupid and selfish."

"What if he doesn't forgive me?"
"Jack, this is Peter who you are talking about."
"Yeah your right. Alright I'm doing this ONLY cause of you." He kisses me in the lips. "Why do taste like beer?"
"Cause I played beer pong? You got to go. Say hi and goodnight to your parents for me."

I went inside the car amd drove off to my house. We live about 7 min away from each other. So it doesn't take that long.

I opended the door and head to the library.
"Hey dad."
"Hey pumpkin. How was your studying session?"
"It was great. How's mom?"
"Shes in her bed sleeping"
"How bad is the sickness"

Dad took out a breath and fold the newspapers.

"It's terrible. The doctor came in and told us that she may not survive in the next few months."

I cried. My mom was like my first best freind. She makes me laugh when I'm down and hugs me when im sick. She also sings songs when I'm scared of the dark. I help her cook breakfast lunch or dinner if our butler cant make it for reasons. They were times we had disagreements and fights. But solve it anf put our hearts together. But this time, her heart is about to break.

I sob really hard. "I really don't want her to die daddy." Dad held onto me. "Me too Kailey. Me too."

I went inside my room and grab my laptop to type my senior paper. As usual, I always do my projects weeks before the due date. As I was about to fall asleep from me typing my paper, I got a text message on my phone. I checked it.

Peter: hey : )  just want to know if we can hang out after school tmrw. I dont have a shift on that day. Text me when you see this.

Me: actually, I'm going straight home after school for family issues. Sorry Peter : (

Peter: its ok

Me: maybe you can to my house around 6  if you want talk.

Peter: thats fine. I'll see you tmrw

"When are going to stop using that phone during nights like this?" my dad said.

I'm just turning off my phone right now. I was texting Peter.
"Peter? As in your old friend Peter Parker?"
I nodded.
"I haven't heard him in years. You guys are together now?"
"Dad stop playing. We're just friends. I'm still dating Jack."
"That jackass. You should date Peter. I mean hes smart, nice, funny, and-"
"And just a friend Dad for the last time. I need to sleep."
"Yeah you should." I punched him lightly in the shoulder.

"Good night pumpkin."
"Good night Dad."

How did you like it? I wanted something different and have a POV of Kailey. Anyways, as I always say, PEACE!!!
