Chapter 14: You're not special

I usually pick up Billy on my way to school. But after the fight we had, I bother not going to his house. As I reached the school's parking lot, I see Kailey getting out of her Mercedes-Benz. Someone else went down the car. I parked my vehicle 3 feet away from Kailey's. I then got out of my car and walk to hers. Then I spotted some one. The person looked familiar. Oh my Gosh.

It was Billy.

I dropped my mouth and quickly pace myself to the building. Since when did Billy and Kailey became friends? How could this happen. Yeah sure I'm proud that Billy has a new friend. He hasn't met another person after we met and became buddies. But Kailey? I thought he hated her. I checked my heart. It was beating so loud, I couldn't hear anything but my beating.

"Hey Pete", a person said unexpectedly. I flinched hard and turned around. I didn't recogize this guy. He was tall like me, has brown skin, and nice curly black hair. He also dressed like he was ready to walk at a fashion show.

"Uh hi?" I said with confusion . The person looked happy to see me.

"Its Marcus. From French class? We have it together."

Dang I don't pay attention to the kids at my french class. Or any.

"Oh yeah. I remeber you," I lied. "And it's Peter."

"Yeah sure. Listen, I'm going to miss that class and I need you to cover me."

"Why?" I asked.

"My girlfriend and I are doing something that period."

You see, I wanted to ask what they're doing to skip class, which is the last period, but then again they might do something I don't want to hear, so....

"I'll try but Mrs. Mercier will know that your gone."

"Just lie that I went to the doctor or something. Like you did to Jack."

"Yeah I gue- wait what?!"

"You know. After the game he invited you to his house party and you didn't show
up. And the guys night out. Which you didn't show up as well."

"I didn't go there for a reason."

"Really? What's the reason? You visited Kailey cause of her sick mom. Com'on man we all know that you have a crush in her. Even Jack."

"I thought we're talking about me helping you skip class not my personal life."

"Oh we are. I'm just saying. I mean Jack actually has the guts to let you become buddies with his girlfriend."

"You know good luck having to find another boy to help you with your escape. Have fun with your pull out game."

I finally entered Chemistry class. As I sat down, Neveah and Kailey came in. And you know me again. Nosy time.

"So you picked the little kid up on Saturday just to hang out with him and skipped our shopping?" Neveah asked.

"I only canceled that day once. I wanted to see how's he doing. Plus we've been shopping like everyday. Don't you need break from that?"

"Does it look like I take a break from shopping?"

The school bell rang and our teacher Mr. Garfield came in.

"Good morning students. After you'll hear the the principal over the speaker, I have a announcement to make."

After the principal give us little details on the speaker, Mr. Garfield made an announcement.

"I've made a decision that we will not be testing this chapter. "

The class cheered and applaued with alot of them yelling 'F YEAH!'.
