Choosing between my friends and the cool teenagers was a major decision. I had to have my pick by tomorrow at school. With hours of thinking, I've made my decision.  while I was at work at the Late Night Diner, I've told Adam about the situation. He recommended me that the only way to not lose one of them is to pick the cool teenagers, then pick my friends. Now, this may sound stupid, but it was actually brilliant.

I texted the three of them to visit my house and talk. Of course they agreed, except for Billy, he didn't respond. I wasn't happy, but also wasn't surprised either. I cleaned the living room, told Zeke to go upstairs or meet his girlfriend, and started the plan.

3 minutes after, the doorbell rang. Without hesitant, I ran through the hallway and opened the door. Jamal and Arav were there of course. But the person that stood at my door surprised. literally dropped my mouth.

Billy.

"Um.. come in and have a seat," I said.

Jamal, Arav, and Billy slowly went inside and sat in the living room. By their look of their faces they looked pissed at me.

"I know that all of you are mad at me and I accept that. But I need your help."

"Ha!" Jamal said. "After you ignore us for the past 3 days, you suddenly need help?"

"I'm sorry for ignoring you but it wasn't my intention. You know I will never turn my back. I mean, I've been so caught up with winning this bet that I forgot about you guys. I didn't mean to hurt you and I'm sorry. I'm sorry for ignoring you for the 3 days. and I'm sorry for having an argument and fighting you Billy."

"You don't have to apologize," said Billy. "It was my fault. I guess I was a little jealous of you and Jack. I didn't want them to change you. I was scared of losing you as my only friend."

"But we're your friends too," Arav said.

"That doesn't help," Billy said.

I laughed a little.

"Now are we friends again?" I asked.

"Depends. What do you need help on?" Arav asked.

"It's not really help, kind of a situation thats needs to be solved."

There was silence. No word spoken for 5 seconds.

"In other words, he needs help."

We all laughed.

"Ok. So today I sat at the populars table as usual. And there was major drama between Jack and kailey. Kailey didn't know they had a game that and a party that Friday. He lied to her saying he went to visit his grandparents. She was unhappy."

"And what does that have to do with your help?" Jamal asked.

"I'm not finished. I could tell Jack didn't feel bad about lying to her. It feels like they argue this more than once."

"So..." Billy said. "It could mean he's cheating on her."

"More than once," Jamal said.

"Wait hold up guys," Arav said. "What if he lied to her just to take care of her mom than worrying about his game and party."

"Well that would make sense. But he also lied to her about going to an award show for his parents so he couldn't go to visit Kailey's house. Instead, he played video games," I said.

"How do you know?" Jamal asked.

"Jack invited me to come and play video games at his house."

"So is that the end of your story?" Billy asked.
