-Lisa-
We all sat there in our seats, listening to the voice of our teacher that spoke about the lesson we were encountering. Although most of our heads were focused on her, I knew that what the other students here hears were nothing but mumbles, maybe, their thoughts were covering the voice of our teacher, which I've had a fair share with, who doesn't, though?
I rested my chin on the palm of my hand and watched our teacher carefully as she spoke more words both important and not.
Ms. Chan, she was a woman that was raised in a well-off family, the first time we all met, she told us about her life story since there was nothing else to do, except talk, rest, or do other things that was unnecessary, which is an idea she looked to be hating on.
She has two brothers, one younger and one older, she was the only girl her parents had, and I knew, she was raised like a princess for sure. She looked kind, and she is, sometimes too much. Her patience was just the right length and she knew when to take things seriously, something I admire about her. She was, hands down, a mature woman I would love to get to know more, to be honest.
Her skin was fair and was incredibly flawless, her hair was dyed a light brown and she was still very young for a teacher and was quite tall for her age, too. Her figure was good, a beautiful hourglass shape, it was obvious to me that she had been going to the gym from time to time, and there were times I wished to have her body, but I'm contented with mine already.
But, I stopped looking at her and took out my pen, shaking my head. I look at my wrist and saw the fading Saturn I drew yesterday, it was no longer black, but a dark purple. So, I took the cap off and placed it at the end of my pen, tracing the Saturn afterwards.
I heard someone clear their throat, and I knew who it was and what he wanted, one thing that was predictable of him.
If he wanted to grab your attention, he would do things he thinks seems natural and was not obvious, but it actually is, very much.
I looked at him, my face blank and my fingers crossed behind my back, hoping he would, at least, give a few information about the girl in between his future sentences, but half of my mind thought of nothing and was completely blank.
"Yes?" I asked.
"You really love Saturn, huh?" He said and peaked at my wrist that wasn't behind my back, but when he said it, it gave me an awkward vibe, and I knew that wasn't really his question.
"Yes, I do. Now, tell me, what do you really want?" I said and finally placed both my hands on top of the table, keeping my body's direction towards the front, not wanting to be obvious especially that Jennie is here.
He coughed, but of course, I knew it was fake. He looked nervous, and it confused me. I wasn't familiar with this side of Jeon Jungkook, although, I see it from time to time, still. He avoided eye contact and I challenged him and myself, and so, I dared him to look at me in the eye, a new experience for me. I wasn't like this, and it scared me. I was out of my comfort zone and I suddenly felt small, so, I looked away.
I wasn't in my right mind at the moment, and it made me question why. Everything's new to me and, who knows what'll happen if I keep on destroying my own guard? Surely, something bad, and I hated that idea.
Keeping my guards up and continuing on making it stronger was more safe, I found. You wouldn't be entering trouble, you would understand and determine if a person is lying or not, which is very helpful. You wouldn't be fooled by people who don't take you seriously, and I loved that kind of feeling, being safe.
After a few breaths, I looked back at him and he was doing the same.
"Okay, so. May I please ask you a favor?" His words shocked me, a little. I didn't expect his words when talking to me were this...respectful. I just wasn't used to it.
"I'll give it a thought, but I can't answer it now," I said, truthfully.
I wasn't in the mood to make decisions at the moment and certainly make promises I wasn't sure I can keep. And most definitely not to a boy I don't really know well.
And even though I am quite curious of what he is asking for, I was not in the mood for any deep thoughts as well that would do nothing but push me deeper and make me be frustrated of the fact of not knowing.
"Please, Lisa," He sighed and I looked away.
He, normally, does not ask favors from me, it was always questions that were too unnecessary, and I answered those questions without much care, but there's that little part of me that made sure I answered it seriously.
I looked at him again and he was looking at me, waiting for my answer. His eyebrows were raised and he looked a little desperate, a little.
"I said, not now. But, I will give it a thought, okay?" I repeated my words and raised my hands a little.
He sighed and positioned his body to take the front as well, making me realize, all this time, his body was towards me. Not that it's something big, though. For me, it was just a sign that what he wanted to ask from me was quite serious, but I couldn't be right, right?
I don't know. Why not ask him?
I closed my eyes, annoyed. I shook my head and opened my eyes again.
These thoughts were calling out for curiosity, and it only meant more racing hearts, more overthinking over simple things, but I wasn't sure if it's simple, though. More sleepless nights over these thoughts, and more theories I come up with. And everything together is bad. Really, really bad.
"Fine, but do get this."
I looked at him and waited for him to continue his sentence.
"I will still be doing your homework."
