Huge Secrets//Team 10

•Chapter 7•

Erika's POV:
I woke up next to Chance with his arms wrapped around me, I dug my face deeper into his chest causing him to wake up.

C:Hey..
E:Hey...
C:How did you sleep?
E:Good, thanks to you!
C:No problem!

He leaned in and kissed me softly with his gentle lips, I kissed back immediately and Chance pulled me onto his lap, I pulled away and smiled before reconnecting our lips, I started kissing down his neck and left a hickey under his jaw, we were interrupted by Tessa screaming in pain in the kitchen, I sighed before I got off of Chance and ran into the kitchen with Chance trailing right behind me, I saw Tessa curled up in a ball as she covered her ears and screamed in pain, Jake got closer to her which made it worse, Jake backed up a little and then I saw Aquata again, she was hurting Tessa and screaming at her but I couldn't hear her only Tessa could. I didn't know what to do so I took my hand and made it into a fist making her tail burn up, she quickly turned around and extended her hand lifting me and then slamming me into the wall before she disappeared, I fell to the floor and Chance quickly came over to me, I whispered in pain as he picked me up and laid me on the couch.

T:Chance quick get water and pour it in a bowl and bring it to me!

She still laid on the floor and tried getting up but fell back down, Chance ran over to the counter and filled up a bowl with water and brought it over to Tessa, she cast a healing spell over it gave it back to Chance.

T:Pour it on her!

Chance grabbed the bowl and poured it on me, the water drained me off my injuries and once again my tail came back, I dried it off and then stood up, I walked over to Tessa and helped her out.

E:What did she say?
T:I couldn't hear her the sound was too loud!

I think I have a spell for this, I ran into my room and pulled out my spell book, it opened up to a page that said "Breaking a connection between a mermaid and a human" I read the spell and it seemed pretty easy, I pricked Jake with a needle and let his drops of blood fall over Aquata's and Jake's name, I then burned it while Tessa froze it, lightning hit the blood making it form into one and then we had to recite the spell, we said it 5 times and the goo that represented the connection broke into two meaning we had broken it.

J:Did it work?
E:Try it out!
T:O-Ok...

Tessa's POV:
I walked over to Jake and pressed my lips onto his, he kissed back and pulled me closer, I wrapped my arms around him as he wrapped his around my waist, he slipped his tongue into my mouth deepening the kiss, we got interrupted by Erika speaking.

E:Ok we get it, it worked damn!!
C:You guys were literally eating each other's faces off haha!

I blushed hard and hid my face in in Jake's chest, I smiled into his chest and he chuckled, he hugged me tight and I hugged him back. I then remembered that tomorrow was the full moon and that we had to get stronger to be able to protect Jake, good thing the rest of the team had left to go to Canada. I pulled away from Jake and walked towards Erika who was chatting with Chance and holding hands with him.

T:Erika?
E:Yeah...
T:What are we going to do?
E:I don't know?
T:I mean you saw how strong she was earlier!
E:Yeah...I guess all we can do is practice and hope for the best, after all it is 2 against 1!
T:Yeah I guess.

We walked out to the pool and Jake and Chance followed, they sat in lounge chairs while we practiced all day, I felt stronger and more confident at the end of the day. We finally went back inside and me and Jake went up to his room. We got inside and Jake locked the door behind him, he laid on the bed while I changed in the bathroom, I came out and sat on Jake's lap, he pulled me close and kissed me passionately, I kissed him back and then he started kissing down my neck, he started unbuttoning my shirt and well you know what happens next, it was the best night of my life, after an hour of that I fell asleep in Jake's warm embrace, but I couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow!
