•Chapter 17•

Tessa's POV:
I arrived at Tristan's and knocked on his door he immediately opened the door and pulled me into a tight hug, I hugged back and tried not to cry because I wasn't in the mood to transform. I pulled away and Tristan took my bags up to my room and I started unpacking while me and him talked, he introduced me to everyone else and we all got along, after I ate dinner I went up to my room and saw my phone, 15 missed calls from Jake, 40 unread messages from Jake, 5 missed calls from Erika and 1 missed call from an unknown number. I decided to call back the unknown number after 2 rings they picked up.

T:Hello?
?:Tessa?!
T:Yea, who is this?
?:Alissa....Tessa listen to me Ja-
T:Why are you calling me? Tell Jake I wish you two the best of luck!
A:No Tessa just listen to hi-

I instantly hung up and decided to call my friend from Fresno, Kevin, I told him everything and he said he was in town and that he would stop by tomorrow, we continued calling until he had to go to bed, I saw that Erika was calling so I picked up.

T:Hey.....
E:T! What happened? Jake is locked in his room and he won't come out I'm just so confused, no one is telling me or Chance anything!
T:I saw Jake and Alissa kissing so I grabbed my bags and left.....
E:Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know, where are you?
T:Tristan's house, don't tell Jake because he'll come looking for me and I don't want that right no-
E:OMG I just heard a loud noise come from Jake's room, Chance kick the door down!

I heard the door being kicked down then I heard silence on the other end of the line.

T:Erika? What's happening?!
E:He's knocking down his furniture and he's glowing a dark red with a hint of grey!
T:He's feeling a lot of anger and a bit of regret, it's the Celestial Energy it's showing his emotions, hold on.

I closed my eyes and channeled Jake, I could see what he was doing, he was knocking down his dressers and he was trashing his room, the grey went away and he was only glowing dark red but it's soon turned to a dark blue as he fell to the floor and broke down crying, I opened my eyes and held back my tears.

T:Erika, I have to go I'll be back when I feel ready, love you!
E:Alright T, love you too!

I hung up on her and put my phone down, I went into my bathroom and took my makeup off, I looked back into the mirror and saw Jake, we were both glowing dark blue, he had tears rolling down his face and his hair was messed up.

T:Jake?
J:Tessa?! Please just come back baby! Let me explain!
T:No! There's nothing to explain Jake!
J:Yes there is just come home!
T:No.

Tears rolled down his face, I looked away and quickly wiped my tear before it touched my cheek, changed into my pajamas and fell asleep.
