•Chapter 18•

Erika's POV:
It's been 3 days since Tessa left and the full moon is tomorrow, I don't know if I can take on Aquata by myself, but I have to try, Jake has just gotten worse, he gets drunk every night and brings home different girls every night, Alissa tries to get him to stop and she tries calling Tessa everyday, I guess she really does feel bad, Chance tries to stope Jake from doing stupid stuff but sometimes he fails, I'm sitting in the kitchen talking with Chance and of course here comes the girl Jake slept with last night, brunette and brown eyes just like Tessa! She leaves the house and Jake comes down shortly after, he looks horrible, messed up hair and he's in last night's clothes. I stop him from getting closer by using my magic.

E:Go shower and fix yourself up!
J:Ugh fineee!

He storms back upstairs and I can hear the shower running, I turn back to Chance and roll my eyes before taking another bite of my bagel he giggles softly and I lean my head on his shoulder.

C:You know you don't have to do this everyday
E:If I don't, who will?

He looks at me and smiles before kissing me softly, we're interrupted by Alissa waking into the house, she apologizes and heads up to Anthony's room, they always hang out and flirt with each other like me and Chance except me and Chance are officially dating. Chance takes a bite of my bagel and I quickly slap it out of his hands.

E:Hey that's mine!
C:What's yours is mine baby!
E:Ugh I hate you!
C:Love you too babe!

I giggle before pulling him into a kiss, I feel him smile into the kiss before kissing me back.I pull away and snuggle into his chest, he kisses my forehead before I pull away and wash my dish, I hear Jake come downstairs and I serve him some eggs, he eats them all and then he sits on the couch and scrolls through his phone suddenly he throws his phone across the room and starts glowing green, he curls up and starts crying I immediately run over to his side then I hear Alissa walk in.

A:Oh no look!

She shows me the phone and I see a photo of Tessa holding hands with some guy, I look back at Jake and comfort him, who is this guy...

Tessa's POV:
I was hanging out with Kevin all day today, we caught up and he really cheers me up whenever I'm with him, we decided to stop and take a picture before we went back to Tristan's house, I posted the picture to my Instagram story as Kevin drove to Tristan's. We arrived and I got out of the car Kevin went in first but I stayed outside to answer my phone, it was Erika.

T:Hello?
E:Tessa?!
T:What's up?
E:Who is that guy on your Instagram story?
T:Kevin. Why?
E:Jake saw it and he started glowing greeen and he broke down crying!
T:Why would he be jealous?
E:Oh I don't know maybe because he loves you!
T:Put me on speaker!
E:Uhhh, ok!
T:Jake doesn't get to be jealous, he was the one who cheated! Plus, KEVIN IS FUCKING GAY!

I hung up and then closed my eyes and saw Jake, he was still crying but he wasn't glowing anymore, I opened my eyes when I felt someone grab my hand, I turned around and saw Kevin, he smiled at me.

K:Let's go into the house?

I nodded and we walked into the house, I couldn't get the image of Jake crying out of my head, me and Kevin talked some more before he left and I walked up to my room I was right outside my doorway when suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my wrist, I closed my eyes, I saw Jake in the bathroom alone with a blade, I made the blade disappear along with all his other ones then I healed my wrist, making his heal as well. I opened my eyes and called Erika.

T:Keep an eye on Jake, he was cutting...
E:How do you know?
T:I felt it on my wrist as well...just check up on him, please!
E:Of course T, bye.
T:Bye, love you!
E:Love you too!

I hung up on her and got ready to go to bed, I crawled into bed and instantly fell asleep.
