Tessa's POV:
I look up at my mother trying to analyze her facial expression, a smirk rubs across her face and she begins taking photos, she dials a phone number and begins talking.

L:I have something great Ron, you won't believe it, should I bring it into the lab for further investigation.
T:No, mom please.
L:I'll be there around 7:30.
T:MOM PLEASE NOO!

Tears blurred my vision,how could she do this, everything went black.

?: Tessa? Tessa...
?:Erika are you sure she's ok?
E:She's fine she's just sleeping Jake.

My eyes fluttered open and I saw Erika and Jake with confused expressions, I sat up in bed, I was in my room, I looked over at Erika.

E:Jake can I talk to her alone?
J:Why alone?
E:Jake I'm pretty sure your pesky little girlfriend needs something just leave!

He frowned and slowly walked out, Erika walked over to the door and locked it, she came and sat at the edge of the bed.

E:Tessa what happened, one minute you're sleeping peacefully, the next minute you're screaming at 5 AM.
T:Wait, are we still m-
E:Mermaids? Yea.
T:Are you and Chance a thing?
E:I mean we flirt but nothing else why?
T:It must've all been a dream or something..
E:If you have questions just ask... I'll be in my room.
T:Thanks.

She left and I got up, everything was a dream? It all felt so real, I walked over to my window and looked down, I saw Jake introducing his vlog, I walked over to my closet and got ready for the day. After I finished my makeup I walked downstairs and saw Jake vlogging in the living room, I made my way into the kitchen and made myself a smoothie, Jake put his camera down after a while and sat at a barstool, I wanted to go up to him and kiss him so bad but I can't I don't know where we stand right now.

J:Hey Tess...
T:Hi.
J:Are you ok?
T:Yea, sorry about this morning, it was just a bad dream I guess...
J:Good.
T:Hey I was wonderin-

I get interrupted by a familiar voice.

Alissa:Hey babe, I need a bigger closet for all my clothes.

Babe? Why is Alissa calling Jake babe, did they get back together? After her cheating on him?!

J:Can we talk about it later Alissa?
A:Ugh fine...

She rolls her eyes at me before she walks over to Jake and kisses him, tears build up in my eyes, I look up at the ceiling before getting up and walking into Erika's room, she's editing a vlog while her and Chance talk.

C:Oh hey Tess, everything alright?
E:Can you give us a sec?

Chance nods and gets off the bed, he kisses Erika's forehead before walking out, closing the door behind him. I sit on the edge on her bed and fall back onto it, she chuckles a little at my actions.

E:What's up T?
T:Everything is just so different, my dream, it felt so, so real.
E:What's bothering you?
T:Alissa...
E:What about her? Are you jealous of her?

I glare at her and she just smirks at me, I roll my eyes and we both laugh.

E:Give it time Tessa, you and I both know damn well that you and Jake belong together.
T:Thanks Erika, it's just so hard watching them together, he seems, happy with her.
E:ARE YOU FUCKING DELIRIOUS TESSA?! Jake is not happy with her...he's happy when he hangs out with you!

I chuckle at her comment, then there's a knock at the door, it was Chance.

C:Sorry for interrupting, but me and Anthony are going to Taco Bell, do you guys want to come?
E:Sure!
T:I actually have to finish editing and then upload a video but thanks.

They all left and I made my way up to my room to finish editing. After a couple of minutes I upload my video ans head downstairs. I open the fridge and make myself a salad, I notice Jake on the trampoline on his phone, that's weird, Alissa isn't around. As I cut some tomatoes I accidentally cut my finger, I shout in pain and cuss, startling Jake.

J:Woah what happened? Are you ok?
T:Yea I j-just cut my finger, I'm fine.
J:Here let me help.

He grabs a towel and places it under the running water, he grabs my finger to clean it up but I quickly move it, I can't get it wet. He looks at me confused then I run upstairs and into my room, I use my magic to heal it and put a band aid on it so he doesn't suspect anything, I walk back down and see Jake on the couch. I finish up my salad and sit on a barstool to eat it. I finish up and clean up, I sit on the couch next to Jake, he looks up from his phone and smiles at me.

J:Hey
T:Hey
J:Are you alright?
T:Yea, just a little cut.
J:Good.
T:Where's Alissa?
J:She's spending the night at a friend's house...
T:Everything ok?
J:Ummm yea I guess..
T:Are you sure?
J:Yea...
T:Well if you ever want to talk you know my door is always open...

He simply nods and smiles at me, I smile back and look into his amazing eyes, he runs his fingers through his blonde hair. He was going to say something but was interrupted by the door opening
