Ben Cook's POV

I was sitting my dressing waiting to go on when I heard something outside. I stepped out, leaving my phone behind.
When I got back my phone was gone. I looked all over for it, but couldn't find it. Then Sky Flaherty came in.
"Hey, Ben," he said.
"Hi, Sky," I replied. I ignored him and searched for my phone.
"What are you looking for?" he asked.
"My phone. It went missing."
"Oh, I haven't seen it."
"That's helpful."
"I know," then he went silent. I looked over at him. He was staring at the door.
"Sky, why are you staring at the door?" I asked.
"Because there's a strange man coming towards us," Sky replied. I looked over at the door and sure enough a strange man came towards us. Then I realised that he looked a little familiar.
"Um, what are you doing back here?" I asked him. He ignored me and just kept walking past our dressing room. I looked over at Sky. He nodded his head and we walked slowly behind the man, making sure he didn't notice us. We followed him down to Ben and Andrew's dressing room where we crouched at the door.
"What the hell?" Sky whispered to me.
"I know. We need to get closer," I replied.
"Ben, no. We need to go."
"Why?"
"Because he's coming towards us now," Sky harshly whispered. I looked up and saw the man standing right in front of us. He looked at us as we stood up.
"Hi," I said. The man made no effort to reply. "Weren't you here earlier?"
"No. Why are you two lerking about?" the man said.
"Well, you walked past us and we wanted to know what you were doing," I replied.
"Ben, we have to go," Sky said.
"Hope you found what you were looking for!" I said as Sky pulled me away. On our way to my dressing room we ran into the man again.
"I think I just found what I'm looking for," he said. He sounded menacing and evil. Then he grabbed us by an arm and pulled us out of the building.

Ben's POV

We had made our way to a different theatre a couple blocks away. Quinn stayed with Kara in the Majestic Theatre. They were able to stay backstage until Jeremy and I called Kara to tell her that it was all clear.
"What if Ben isn't safe?" I asked. Jeremy and I were standing in front of the stage door of our theatre.
"I'm sure he's fine. Don't worry about him, Ben," Jeremy replied. He pulled the door open and we walked in. I went straight to his dressing room to find that he wasn't there. Then I went to Sky's dressing room and neither of them were there.
"Hey, Ben," Andrew said. He was in his Crutchie costume.
"Hey, Andrew, have you seen Ben and Sky anywhere?" I asked. Andrew gave me a weird look.
"No, why?" he replied.
"We might have to call the police," I said.
"Whoa, please tell me why."
"I can't explain it."
"Try."
"Okay, I don't think the fake social workers left empty handed."
"What do you mean?"
"They might've taken Ben and Sky," I said. Andrew's eyes got really wide when he heard me say that.
"We need to tell everyone in the theatre. Like security, they'll know what to do," Andrew said.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"Yeah, they're sort of like cops. In fact I'm sure security will call the cops," Andrew replied.
"Okay," I said. Andrew turned and went back into our dressing room.

Quinn's POV

I sat silently next to Kara. We were sitting in a dressing room in the Majestic theatre. I watched Ali Edwolt get ready for her show.
"So, Quinn, do you like theatre?" Ali asked. Since I didn't have my pen and paper I had to talk.
"It's cool I guess," I replied. Ali turned to face me.
"You've been living in a theatre. How can you only guess it's cool?" Ali said.
"She's spent most of her time backstage. She only saw one show," Kara said. Ali nodded in understanding.
"Maybe you two should watch this show," Ali suggested.
"I don't know. Quinn and I are waiting for either Ben or Jeremy to call. It could be a while," Kara said. Then her phone buzzed.
"That must be them."
"It's Andrew. Hold on, Ali. Hello?" Kara got up and left me alone with Ali.
"Quinn, you don't have to be scared of me. I promise no one in the cast of this show will hurt you," Ali said. Just then someone burst through the door. Ali looked at him. "Jay, don't you have anything better to do than scare us like that," Ali scolded.
"There's not going to be any shows tonight. All of Broadway is shut down," Jay said. I looked at him with a scared expression.
"Ali, who's this?"
"She's with Kara Lindsey. They needed a place to take her until they knew the theatre was safe. She probably won't stay for very long," Ali said. Then Kara came in.
"Come on, Quinn. We have to go," she said. I looked over at Ali, then Jay, then back at Kara. Then I stood up and Kara and I left.
When we got back to the Nederlander Theatre I got to be with Ben again. He seemed really worried about something though.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Nothing, Quinn," he replied. I sat in his chair and crossed my arms. Then he gave a weird look.
"What?" I asked.
"You've never crossed your arms before."
"And you've never not told me something."
"Alright, Ben Cook and Sky Flaherty went missing this afternoon. Andrew called the cops and now all of Broadway is shut down so the police can question people," Ben said.
"What?"
"Quinn, you seemed to recognize the fake social workers," Ben said. I grabbed my pen and paper.
Ben, I don't know how I recognized them, but they also seemed to recognize me. Do the cops know about this? This could be a lead. I put the pen down and Ben grabbed the paper. He looked it over then looked at me.
"They'll know now," he said. Then he stood up and left the room.
