Quinn's POV
I was still curled up in Josh's blanket when Jeremy shook me awake.
"They found Josh and Ben," he said. I looked at him in confusion.
"Ben is on his way here," I replied groggily.
"He should've been here by now. But they arrested Jeff. So that threat is gone."
"Where are they then?"
"The hospital. I think we should go see them. It'll really help Josh."
"What do you mean?"
"Appearently he's been freaking out," Jeremy replied. I sat up and looked at the blanket.
"Well then why are we still sitting here? Let's go," I said. I lept off the couch and grabbed Jeremy's hand while still holding the blanket.
When we got to the hospital I ran into Josh's room.
"Hey," I said as I sat down next to the bed.
"Hey," he replied. His eyes were really wide like he was scared of everything. I realised that I must've looked like that at one point. Without saying a word I covered him with the blanket. He didn't seem to relax much though.
"Josh," I started. I couldn't think of anything else to say.
"Quinn, I understand why you didn't talk to us before. I understand it all," he said. I couldn't think of anything to say. I wrapped my arms around Josh. I could feel tears well up in my eyes.
"I'm glad you're alright," I said.
"Me too," Josh replied.
"Don't be scared. No one here will hurt you. Trust me."
"I don't know if I can."
"If I can you can. You're stronger than you know," I said. Josh nodded and pulled me onto the bed.
"Can you just stay here until I leave?" he asked.
"Yeah, but I will wanna see Ben at some point," I replied.
"Go see him and then come back."
"Okay," I said as I slid off the bed.Sky's POV
I sat next to Ben when Jeremy popped his head in.
"We have Josh back," he said excitedly. Ben sat up.
"Really?" he asked.
"Yup. He's really scared though, so it might be best if you don't see him just yet," Jeremy replied. A sad look came upon Ben's face.
"It'll be okay, Ben. We'll see him soon," I said. I took Ben's hand in mine and he looked a little happier.
"Wait what'll happen when we go home?"
"He'll be okay by then."
"Are you sure?"
"They wouldn't send him home if he wasn't okay."
"You're right. If I leave before him, will you stay with me?" Ben asked. I nodded.
"I promise," I said.
"Good," Ben replied. Then a doctor came in.
"Ben, you're all clear to go home," he said.
"Cool," Ben replied. The doctor unhooked him and I helped him out of the bed.
When we got to his apartment he went into Josh's room. He didn't say a word. I sat down on the couch and started to watch Mean Girls. Ben suddenly came running in with one of Josh's blankets wrapped around him. He slipped on the floor and fell.
"Oh my god! Ben, are you okay!?" I asked as I ran over to him. He popped his head up.
"Yeah I'm fine," He replied. I helped him onto the couch where we sat and watched Mean Girls.
When Josh came home he was with Quinn and Ben.
"Ben?" Josh asked.
"Yo, what's up?" Ben replied. He didn't move from his little cocoon. Josh walked over to him and sat on his legs.
"I'm back from being human trafficked and the hospital," Josh said. Ben tried to sit up, but gave up and just curled til he could grab Josh's legs.
"What are you doing, Ben?" I asked.
"I don't wanna sit up, so I'm gonna hug his legs," Ben replied.
"Hey, Ben," Quinn said. She was wrapped up in a blanket and looked like she was sort of cold.
"Hey, Quinn," Ben replied.
"Quinn, you should eat something," Ben Fankhauser said from the kitchen.
"Are you secretly her dad?" Ben asked.
"No, why?"
"You sorta sound like it."
"You wish he was," Josh said jokingly.
"You don't know what I wish," Ben said. A blanket of silence covered the room. Quinn went into the kitchen and Ben, Josh, and I turned our attention to the movie.
After the movie was over Ben came in.
"They found her parents," Ben said. He sounded a little happy and sad at the same time.
"Do we know if they're really her parents?" I asked.
"Social services had them answer a series of questions about her. The people they think are her parents got everything right."
"Quinn, how do you feel about this?" Josh asked.
"I feel a little scared. But if they are my parents they'll know me, so I guess its okay," Quinn replied. I stood up and walked over to her.
"You can fo it. I believe in you. And you can always come to visit. We'll save a seat for you," I said. Quinn nodded and I could see tears well up in her blue eyes. She gave me a hug.
"I don't wanna go," she said.
"It'll be okay. You can always come visit us," I said.
"It won't be the same!"
"I know."
"Sky," Josh said. He took my spot with Quinn.
"Josh, I don't wanna leave you guys," Quinn sobbed.
"I know. But maybe we can get your parents to stay in New York," he said. Quinn looked up him.
"But they won't," she said.
"You haven't tried yet," Josh said as he wiped away her tears.
"Quinn, I think we should go and get some sleep," Ben said.
"You two can stay," Josh stay.
"Where would we sleep?"
"There's a couch and I can sleep with Ben. As for Sky he can too."
"Josh, are you sure about this?" Ben asked. Josh nodded. Quinn hadn't let go of him yet.
"Quinn, come on. We need to figure out the sleeping arrangement," Ben said. She didn't move.
"I don't wanna leave," she said. She turned her head so her face was against Josh's chest. Josh started to walk and she just moved with him.
