Quinn's POV

After the police came they took us to a hospital to get checked out, even though nothing was wrong with us. I was still scared, so Sky stayed near me until Ben came.
"Do you think Ben will want to see me?" I asked.
"Of course he will. Why do you think he wouldn't?" Sky replied.
"I told him that I couldn't come back to the theatre without putting him and everyone else in danger."
"Quinn, Ben will want to see you no matter what happens. Heck, he'd even want to see you if you were being fostered in California," Sky said. I looked up at him. We were sitting on a bed in the ER with the curtain closed. We were silent until we heard people coming. I tensed up until Ben busrt through the curtain.
"Quinn?!" Ben asked.
"Ben," I said, feeling hot tears well up in my eyes as I stood up and walked up to him. He pulled me into a hug.
"Are you okay?" Ben asked.
"Yeah, we're both fine," I replied as I pulled away.
"Quinn thought you wouldn't want to see her again," Sky said from the bed.
"Quinn, nothing could stop me from seeing you," Ben said.
"Ben, the reason I thought that was because of what I said. I thought you would've stuck by what I said," I said, thinking that stating my case would help.
"Hey, Ben, do you know if Ben is okay?" Sky asked.
"I'm not sure. I think Andrew knows."
"You think Andrew knows what?" Andrew said as he came in.
"Do you know anything about Ben?" Sky asked.
"Yeah, he's okay. He's in a hospital back in the city. I can't quite remember if there were any major injuries, but he should be released in a day or two," Andrew replied. Sky nodded and stood up.
"Where are you going?" Ben asked.
"I am going to see if I can leave now. There's nothing wrong with me and I want to see my friend," Sky said as he stepped through the curtains.
"Ben, I'm glad you're here," I said.
"I am too. And when I heard you would be taken to a hospital I was scared," Ben replied.
"Hey, Quinn, do you know if they caught the two people that did this?" Andrew asked.
"No, the police haven't even gotten a describtion for them yet."
"Why not?"
"I was too scared to talk to them and Sky couldn't get a word out of me. And he thought it was a little weird that I wasn't talking because I didn't seem that scared when we escaped, but I hadn't quite processed what was happening. But with Ben here, I think I can do it," I said.
"But I don't know much about them. I was kept in one small part of the theatre. I couldn't even go to the bathroom," Sky said as he was being brought back in by a policeman.
"Are you two ready to talk to us?" he asked. Sky and I looked at each other and Sky gave me the look of "go ahead tell them". I took a deep breath and began the story, making sure I left nothing important out.
"I was found in the Nederlander Theatre about a week ago by Ben Fankhauser and Tommy Bracco. I don't know how I got there or what my real name is, but they gave me the name Quinn. When they found me, Ben started to get weird calls on his phone and even called the NYCPD and they said there wasn't much for them to do. Well, a few days later Ben gets a call from Ben Cook, but it's not really Ben Cook," I gave the police everything I knew and could remember. And everyone seemed a little shocked about how many details I had been picking up throughout the week. I gave the police the descriptions of the man and the lady I soon found out were the fake social workers, Elaine and Jeff.

Ben Cook's POV

Jeremy and Tommy stayed with me until visiting hours were over, despite the fact that I liked their company and wanted them to stay. But they came back the next morning with Josh Burrage, who was happy to see me alive.
"I thought you died. I still think Sky is dead," he said. I gave him the "shut up" look. "Okay, I'm sorry," he said, giving me a slight puppy dog eyes.
"Why do you think Sky is dead?" Tommy asked.
"I haven't seen him in a while," Josh replied.
"That doesn't mean he's dead," Jeremy said.
"Is he?"
"No!" Tommy, Jeremy, and I said in unison.
"Okay, sorry. No need to shout," Josh said. "When is Sky coming back?"
"He should be back by tonight," Jeremy said.
"How do you know?" I asked.
"I talked to Andrew before we came. He said that they didn't need to stay in the hospital because neither Sky or Quinn had anything wrong with them. Don't worry about them, Ben. They'll be fine. They haven't gone anywhere without some cops around them," Jeremy said. I looked around the room.
"You guys aren't gonna let anyone kidnap me again, right?" I asked.
"Of course not, Ben. They'd have to fight us first," Josh said.
"Josh, please go outside," Tommy said.
"No, Josh, stay. It could still be dangerous out there. I mean we don't know if the man has been arrested or not, and who knows if the lady as been arrested," I said. I didn't know if the man and lady hadn't gotten arrested and wasn't going to let my friends be in any place they could get to them.
