Chapter 3

(Cameron's POV)

It's been 5 hours since Sam left! Where is he?!

The others woke up about an hour ago and they were worried as well.

"We need to go out an find him!" Eric said, irritated that we haven't already went to look for Sam.

"Just wait! He'll be back ssssoon! I know he will!" I replied, but worried myself

Just then I heard foot steps and Sam came around the corner.

The others automatically ran up to him and hugged him, "oh god, haha!" he said while being hugged.

(Sorry it was short I started writing in Sam's POV on accident and I didn't know until I was done with the chapter XD)

(Sam's POV)

"Sorry I was gone for so long," I apologized.

"I'm just glad your back, finally!" Sophie said happily.

All of a sudden a random image of Scarlet popped into my mind. I couldn't help but smile for some reason at the fact I would see her again tonight.

"What ya thinkin' about? Eric said, breaking me from my trance.

I didn't dare tell them about Scarlet, "Oh.. Nothing."

Eric shrugged, "Okay then, I'll get it out of you soon tho!"

"Anyway! I was thinking that tomorrow we should move caves," Cameron said.

"W-What?! Why! This one is perfect!" I defended, not wanting to leave.

Cameron looked at me shocked, "since when do you not want to move? You are always happy about moving!"

I shrugged and sat down.

"I just... I found this really cool place in the cave! And I don't really wanna leave it," I lied.

"Well, there will be plenty of cool places in the new cave! And maybe even a ravine!" Eric said, trying to cheer me up.

"No!" I yelled like a 5 year old.

"What's happened to you, Sam?!" Sophie asked.

I clutched my fists and sat up, "what happened with me?! WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOU!?" I yelled and stormed out.

"Sam!" I heard them yell, I ignored it.

I went back to the exit of the cave, the sun was out, but it was raining.

I cautiously walked outside and looked around.

I shrugged when I saw nothing and sat down, I watched the rain fall to the ground and soak into my white sweat shirt.

"This is so stupid!" I mumbled to myself.

I picked up a stone and threw it in a bush.

"Ow!" I heard someone say.

I got up and pulled out my bow, "who's there?"

A girl jumped out the bush, I relaxed when I saw who it was.

"Oh hey, Scarlet," I said, putting my bow back.

"Yeah, it's meh!" She said happily.

"And... What's stupid?" She asked.

I laughed, "stalker."

"And I'm proud to be one!" She laughed.

I smiled but then frowned, "it's just that I gotta leave soon."

She stopped laughed and looked surprised, "wha- why?"

"It's just I'm forced to-"

"Wait!" She cut me off.

"if you live alone why are you forced to leave!" She asked.

I shrugged, not wanting to tell her about the others.

"You don't have to tell me I guess.." She shrugged.

"But you should come to my house! For ya know! This may be the last time we see each other!" She laughed.

I smiled, "why not?"
