Chapter 17

Sky's POV

"Escaping"

At first I thought it was some joke and I started laughing.

When he had no reply to my laugher ingot a little worried.

"You cant be serious! Do you have a death wish?!" I said to him.

He didn't reply, he just walked out the cell and headed down the hall.

"Hey! Uh- wait!" I said getting up and running after him.

When I caught up he looked at me and smirked, "I knew you would follow me!"

I crossed my arms and looked away from him. I could hear him laugh a little.

"Alright, if your so serious, what's the plan?" I asked, wanting to hear a plan.

He looked at me, "well, you know this place like the back of your hand right?"

"Yeah, and we need to hide. Now." I said, grabbing his wrist and going behind some boxes.

He looked at me, "what-?" I put my hand on his mouth and pointed to some of the guardian hybrids.

"Guards," I whispered.

He nodded and watched.

When the guards passed we got up and brushed ourselves off.

"I hope you know I still hate you." I said as I crossed my arms.

"I just- need you to- make the- uh plan," I said.

"Alright, alright," he said and he kept walking down.

"Wait for me!" I whisper/yelled.

Cameron's POV

"Wait for me!" I heard her whisper/yell.

I slowed down my pace until she caught up.

"You tend to fall behind a lot" I pointed out.

"Whatever," she spat.

I smirked and kept walking down the hall.

When we came to the end if the hall we had two options, go left or right.

"Left." She said, reading my mind.

"Okay then," I said, following her going down the left path.

"Okay, well, I don't want to do a 'Cameron' and leave everyone so I need to get the the cell control room."

I nodded, "where is it?"

"Just stick with me, we're lucky this place had so cameras."

It was silent for a while until I asked a question, "what happened... Earlier? When you lost to me you started panicking? What did she do..?"

Her face went pale, "n-nothing that consensus you."

I sighed, knowing that she won't tell me and we just continued silently.

When we finally reached the areas with the cells everyone looked at us and smiled at Sky but then some glared at me.

I kinda expected that. I can't blame them, I mean I would do that same..

"Hey guys.. Shh.. We're gonna get you out of here," sky said.

I looked at everyone I saw the golem from before, he looked the most mad.

"What are you doing with the betrayer," the golem asked.

"Be quiet, Gary, he has a plan to get us all out and I have to trust him."

The golem, or Gary, crossed his arms and continued to glare at me.

"we are almost there, Cameron. Just be sure you don't get caug-"

There was silence, I looked over and saw her shaking.

"What is it-" I was cut off when I looked at what she was looking at.
