Wood's POV

We walked out of the bathroom together smiling, and Connor happened to be standing right in front of the door. He had a look of confusion on his face. Which I guess is understandable, considering the situation. Opening his mouth as if to talk, he quickly shut it again. At this point things were getting a bit awkward, all of us just standing there.

"What...were you guys doing in there?" Connor finally manages to get out.

"Oh you know, just talking...in the bathroom. Totally normal," Tanner responded. I appreciated him speaking up because I was still stunned from everything. Looking over at Tanner I started to laugh at his casual remark and shook my head. Leaving now seemed like a good option, so I walked away to go back to my office. I needed to grab some things before lunch. Is this a date? No! Shut up, don't get ahead of your self. Just two guys hanging out.

Once I had everything I sat there on my phone, waiting for Tanner. He said he was going to tell Matt that he wouldn't be joining them for lunch. While I was waiting I went to Instagram and just stared at the picture of me and Tanner. It already had a lot of likes. Scrolling through the comments I saw things like, "I SHIP IT," and, "They look so happy," and even one that said, "Is Wood's...blushing?!" I had to stop reading at that one, and scrolled back up to the picture. Yep. You can definitely tell I'm blushing. Fuck. Oh well.

"What're you smiling at on your phone, cutie?" Looking up, I saw Tanner in the doorway. I guess I was too into my phone to notice him walk up. I quickly turned off my phone and put it in my pocket.

"Oh nothing. Ready to go?" I stood up and walked towards him.

Smiling down at me he said, "I'm ready if you're ready." My heart skipped a few beats. That fucking smile.

" Well then let's goooooo." I gently pushed him out of the door. We got into Tanner's beaten up truck and started towards the café. On the car ride there, we just listened to some music. Every so often though, I would catch Tanner looking over at me. He always smiled and then went back to looking at the road. When we got there Tanner told me to wait in the truck for some reason. Then he came around and opened my door for me, making a big gesture out of it.

I chuckled, "Why thank you kind sir," I put on a silly accent to fit the mood. We both just started laughing and walked inside. It was a local place, so it was never really that busy. After we ordered our coffee and food, we sat down at a table by the window. Tanner took a sip of his coffee, then looked at me expectantly. I didn't really know what to say.

"Hey, how's it going?" We both laughed at the awkwardness of my statement, then fell into easy conversation. Time seemed to be going by too quickly. I didn't really want this to end. We have to go back to shooting GG after this. Just before we got up to leave Tanner looked like he had a great idea.

"Woods! Let's take a picture together. You know...for the viewers," It's damn near impossible to say no to this man, so I agreed. We posed with our coffees and took the picture. After it was taken I notice his hand was on top of mine. I don't know if was in frame or not though. Did he do it on purpose? Probably just an accident... I thought. Tanner typed away on his phone. Once he finished he turned his phone towards me so I could see it. He posted the picture on twitter, it said, "Lunch date with the one and only, Woodland Demars." It was hard not to over speculate his use of the word "date."

"Sweet dude! That's an awesome picture, I'm sure the viewers will love it." I replied trying to mask how happy this actually made me feel. I didn't want to make it too obvious.

"I think they will too. I know I sure do," Tanner replied and then stood up. He winked at me and offered a hand to help me up. I swear he has to be doing this on purpose. He has to know how flustered he makes me. I grabbed his hand and stood up, but he didn't let go. I didn't comment on it, wanting it to last as long as possible. We walked back to his truck and got in. A few minutes into the drive, he reached over and grabbed my hand and held it. I looked down at our entwined hands and blushed. How could anyone not like this guy.

A/N - I KEEP ACCIDENTALLY MAKING EACH CHAPTER LONGER THAN THE LAST. But I guess as long as they're frequent you guys won't complain. Gonna balance out all the Woods with some Paul in the next chapter.
