Y/N'S POV
"Hey. Why so quiet? Did I do something wrong?"
Andrew sat down beside me on the couch, as I was watching The Misadventures of Flapjack. He set his hand on my leg and waited for me to speak to him.
I looked down at his hand and said,"I can't go with you to dinner. I'm sorry."Andrew squeezed my leg and explained to me,"I know she did not say something to you again. Y/N, why don't you just stand up to her? Stop letting her get you down. Why don't you come to me when this stuff happens, so I can defend you?"
I replied,"Because you shouldn't need to. I can't come."
Andrew asked me,"Did she message you again?"
I nodded and handed Andrew my phone. Andrew read the messages out loud and I just became focused on his shoes.
Shortly after he was done, he handed me back my phone and said,"You took me off your lock screen..I'm hurt."I chuckled and said,"I should put Tom Holland on it. In his suit."
Andrew shook his head and grabbed my phone, setting himself back as my lock screen. I couldn't help but smile at him, and he smiled back at me.
He asked me,"Why do you take what she says? Why?"
I sighed and explained to Andrew,"Because I used to get bullied. I know I never told you, so I just did. See, it was hard for me, Andrew, and every single day seemed like it was too long. It seemed like my life was too long. Whenever Teresa came around, I automatically knew my day was ruined. It was her mission to humiliate me and even turn those I thought were my friends against me. You're looking at the girl that lost absolutely everyone in school. Amazing life, right?"
Andrew wrapped his arms around me saying,"Darling, I'm so sorry for asking. I didn't know, but it's not too late to stand up for yourself. You said it happened then, but it does not have to be the same thing now. You have me, your Spider-Man, right?"
I nodded and said,"Right, but it won't be that easy, baby. She's done this for years, and I've always fallen for it. What makes this time any different with me stepping out there?"
Andrew replied,"You won't be alone. That's what makes it different."
I took a deep breath and headed up the stairs, getting ready for dinner with Andrew. That girl, whose name I did not want to mention again, always was in my head. Somehow, she had gotten my number and harassed me almost every single day.
I would get rid of the messages, but some things just don't go away. I was glad Andrew was making an effort to help me move forward. After I became dressed and ready to go, Andrew sat down on the bed and fixed his sleeves.I said,"Baby, I'm ready."
Andrew got up and said,"Good, but Y/N, love, I don't want you to feel like you have to-"
I cut him off by saying,"No. I need to get out. At least with you by my side. You'll stay with me, right?"
Andrew gave me a kiss and nodded, before he walked me to his car. I lifted the bottom of my dress and sat down in the passenger seat.
Andrew closed my door and got in himself, driving us to where we would have dinner. I got out and Andrew led me inside, but I heard a chuckle coming from my opposite side.I turned and saw her. Andrew knew what she looked like, even though he didn't know everything she ever did to me.
Andrew said,"I'm going to ask you this one time and not another: Please leave."
Teresa smirked and said,"I just can't. Knowing Y/N is here as well."
Andrew stood in front of me and said,"Oh, I think you will. You see, I know what you've been saying to Y/N and I don't suppose you would want my friends to see that. I know some people that could lock you away for a long time. I don't know you very well, but I don't think you would want that, would you?"
That shut Teresa down and she said,"This isn't over."
Andrew laughed and motioned behind him saying,"Oh, yes, it is. From what I can tell, you're going to keep doing what you're doing. I don't intimidate you and neither does Y/N, but I'm sure the law does."
I noticed a police car and the officer said,"Ma'am, we're going to take a ride."
When I recognized the officer, he sent me a nod and I nodded back to him.
He came over and gently put Teresa into the back of the car, before he said,"Don't think I'm not hurt you didn't tell me how you were doing, Y/N, but I'll let it slide. You remember a guy named Kevin?"
I nodded and he smiled at me saying,"Consider this a thank you. He is my son. Don't worry. I'll make sure she doesn't come near you."
I smiled back at the officer and said,"No. Thank you. Tell him I said hey."
He nodded and drove off.
I turned to Andrew and asked him,"How did you know that she would be here and that Officer Potts would be here?"
Andrew wrapped an arm around me and said,"Sweetheart, how would I not know? For years, she's always shown up either on your phone or in person. Plus, I actually do know how to read, Y/N. Officer Potts, I didn't know about it. I guess it was luck."
I smiled a little saying,"No. It was more than that. Can we go eat dinner now?"
Andrew laughed and kissed my forehead saying,"Yes, we can, but don't worry. She won't be messing with you anymore. This gives you a chance to recover. Try to get some of those things she put into your head out, and I'll help you. It's what heroes do."
I nodded and said,"Okay, Spidey. I know. I love you."
Andrew replied,"I love you, too, Y/N."
