   Y/N'S POV

I paced around Stephen and I's living room, as I waited for him and David to join me to go see my mother. Dad wanted to come with me, but I told him I would be fine with Stephen and David there.

After Dad left, Stephen and David made their way towards the living room.

David gave me a hug and mumbled,"Everything is going to be fine, Y/N. Stephen and I will be right there with you."

I hugged David back, before he pulled away from the hug. Stephen took my hand and led us out of our home, then I walked to my car.
Stephen held open the passenger side door for me and I got in, before he jogged over to his side. David rode in his own vehicle and followed right behind us.

As we made our way to my mother's house, I tapped my foot and asked Stephen,"How long until we get there, baby?"

Stephen looked over at me and focused back on the road replying,"We have a minute, Mrs. Queen. Hey, it'll be worth it. You just have to have faith that it will go well, all right?"

I nodded and I said,"Stephen, you called me "Mrs. Queen" instead of "Mrs. Amell."

Stephen chuckled and smiled saying,"I know. Just wanted to see if you were still with me. Your dad seems very friendly. I will be honest: He intimates me very much."

I smiled a little and said,"His talent is intimidation. That's a good thing. It means he still has it. Don't worry. He likes you a lot. I can tell."

Stephen actually let out a sigh of relief and that made my smile even bigger. Stephen turned into a long neighborhood and drove around the tight curves, before he stopped at one of the larger houses.

It was funny, because it was bigger than the house Dad raised me in. Maybe Mother earned it from hard work and determination.

I got out of the car and Stephen said,"Do you need David and I to stay out here? If you need us, we'll be right here. Just come back out here, if you do. Figured you would want to try to speak to her alone. First."

I didn't think about that, but I just nodded and gave Stephen a kiss.

He said,"Good luck. Remember: You're still amazing. Even if she does have standards."

Stephen sent me a wink and I kissed his nose, before David waved to me. I smiled and waved back, then I took a deep breath, heading to the door.
I hesitated, but I slowly knocked on the door. I was expecting a woman to open the door that possessed similar features to my true mother, but I was greeted with a man.

He looked at me confused, but he stared at me for quite sometime. I became uncomfortable. I think the only reason he was staring at me was because I probably looked just like my mother. I would assume he was a close friend or boyfriend of my mother.

When he stopped staring, he held out his hand and said,"Are you Y/N?"

I slowly nodded and asked the man,"How do you know my name and who are you?"

He smiled saying,"Because I'm your father and your mother was told you would be coming here by a man who claims he is your father."

I cleared my throat and said,"Excuse me? That man who told my mother I was coming IS and WILL ALWAYS BE my father. I don't know who you think you are, but you are most definitely not my father. I don't know what you and my mother have going on, but I'm not your daughter. You're not my father. He's at work right now."

The man looked mad, until a woman appeared next to him.

I noticed her gentle, yet distant E/C eyes and how she studied me, before she said,"Y/N, come with me."
