  Richard was up to something, but I didn't know what it was that he was up to. Richard and I had known each other for a very, very, very long time, and he'd break any day now.
  At this moment, I had to check on my baby sister, Rose, whom I was now responsible for. Unfortunately, I had lost both of my parents in a robbery a few weeks ago.

  Of course, I wasn't over their deaths yet, but I had to take care of Rose.

  I jogged up the stairs and spotted Rose still asleep in her crib. I carefully picked her up and wrapped a blanket around her, before I carried her down to the living room.
  I turned on the television, and 21 Jump Street just happened to be on. The television show 21 Jump Street. I decided to watch it, until I felt a kiss on my shoulder.

  I leaned my head back and smiled up at Richard saying,"Hey, Richard. Where have you been?"

  He said,"Nowhere, baby. Can I hold Rose?"

  I gave Rose to Richard, before I asked Richard,"How much longer do you think it's going to be before you break?"

  Richard shrugged, and I stood to my feet. He realized what I was watching, and he was trying not to smile.

  I reached back and held his chin saying,"You know, I really enjoyed this show. As someone who doesn't watch a lot of television shows, that says a lot, Richard. Your show also had a great cast, which made it even better."

  Richard said,"Thank you, Y/N."

  I nodded, and Richard sat down on the sofa beside me.

  I just looked at him, and he kept his attention on Rose as he said to me,"Y/N, I can't tell you."

  I pouted, and I said,"That's fine. You'll tell me. Are you okay? You look tired."

  Richard reached over and squeezed my leg saying,"I'm okay. I'm tired, but I'm okay."

  I looked down at Rose and back up at Richard saying,"I know you're tired and maybe this conversation can wait until you're not tired, but would you want to start a family with me?"

  Richard said,"I want to, but it's up to you when we start."

  I crawled over to Richard and gave him a kiss, then I leaned on his arm.

  He said,"Y/N, you're right."

  I said,"What am I right about?"

  "Stay right here. Take Rose."

  I took Rose from him, and Richard rushed out of the room. When he returned, he just sat back down on the couch.

  I asked him,"Well, what was all of that for?"

  He got down on one knee, and I stood to my feet with Rose in my arms.

  I said,"Richard..."

  He asked me,"Y/N M/N L/N, will you marry me?"

  I nodded saying,"Yes, Richard. What took you so long to ask me? I've been waiting for years now."

  Richard stood to his feet and held me saying,"I didn't have the courage to ask you then."

  "I'm glad you finally asked me. Where's my ring?"

  Richard said,"Somewhere."

  "Somewhere? Richard, go find it."

  "It's right here, Y/N."
