I can't have her,
Through all hours of the day.
But I am very grateful,
That we may have what we may.
Our time flies so fast,
Don't want it to end.
If we can make this feeling last,
I'd give my life to defend.
I'd lay down and die,
I'd simmer and fry,
Care so much that I,
Just can't help but to sigh.
I'm afraid I'll get boring,
And you'll no longer care.
But what my heart is storing,
Says you'll always be there.
I feel much the same,
Can't call your bluff or just fold.
It would be such a shame,
To see this feeling sold.
I am bleary with affection,
Can't stop this overload.
I thought I'd learned a lesson,
But I guess I'm not so cold.
Your warmth of presence,
I have come to find,
Like the world's greatest present,
You are always on my mind.
So hold me close when you are near,
I will always know the truth.
I can help you face your fears,
No matter how uncouth.
I'm sending my emotion to your heart,
So strong and overwhelming.
If this is just the start,
The future's so worth telling.
I see great things for us,
If you'll just accept my hand.
We'll take this living journey,
Together across the land.
We'll travel life together,
'Neath jupiter and mars.
And make this world better,
As we navigate the stars.
I'm standing with you,
For better or worse.
And I'll know what to do,
If our fears re emerge.
I'll leave you with a kiss,
A poetic verse for you.
You're pure and simple bliss,
A chaotic lovely truth.
