"Waking Up"

Wake up to me,

What you want to see,

I'll set you free,

Like a fish at sea.

I'll fix your wounds,

And we'll fly to the moon,

Peace will be here soon,

A cosmic love platoon.

I feel you when we're far apart,

That just proves you are my heart,

We haven't even had a start,

And loathe when we must depart.

I see a bright tomorrow,

And some days full of sorrow,

But we must learn to borrow,

What time we have before the morrow.

We must keep us firmly seated,

And our skin be armor pleated,

Neither of us will be cheated,

Out of what we have just seeded.

I told you I would stand,

If you just gave me your hand,

Now we're neck deep in the sand,

Isn't what we have so grand?

You're right that this could last forever,

I would follow you into the never,

And our bond would not be severed,

Our souls would still be tethered.

I need your inspiration,

I love this feeling of elation,

No longer feeling devastation,

My heart had become complacent.

I'm still beside you,

I won't belie you,

I won't just try you,

You're the sparkle in my eye, you.

No matter the hell,

Or funeral bells,

Or worlds felled,

We will both revel.

Like adam and eve,

If you left, I'd leave,

And leave eden bereaved,

Of what our love has acheived.

It's stronger than the years,

Much deeper than our fears,

Able to dry all of our tears,

We must keep this feeling near.

It feels like this is fate,

I'm glad it's not too late,

We may have found the perfect mate,

We fill all each other's traits.

Or fear our love may fall,

Remember this plaintive call,
