"Sight Unhindered"

My teeth are bared,

This weight on my back.

None of it shared,

My shoulders are black.

My back is cracked,

Full lumbar attack.

Hold my hand now,

We're not coming back.

Say goodbye to the past,

And hello to me.

I hope this will last,

Only time will see.

We're moving ahead,

To an uncertain day.

But I'd rather be dead,

Than not see this play.

We're in starring roles,

It's shakespeare’s life.

All the scarring holes,

From the world's knife.

I will take my care,

And heal those wounds.

Only you would dare,

To have me so soon.

I'll hold you upright,

As life bears it's weight.

And over our nights,

We see how we rate.

Two of us,

Just four pairs of eyes.

No fight or fuss,

We keep our ties.

My heart cries,

My soul dies,

My body sighs,

For your touch.

The absence of lies,

Your gaze says so much.

Like who you are,

And who you'll be.

I know we'll go far,

If our hearts can see.
