▂▂▂ Veronica walked over to the fridge to pour over 2 bowls of cereal one for herself and the other for her partner in crime Caroline Forbes.
Caroline sat at the breakfast bar playing with the milk-less cereal with the palm of her hand on her cheek.
Veronica walked over and poured the milk in Caroline's first and then hers. She place the milk back into the fridge door and sat next to Caroline on the breakfast bar.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Veronica furrowed her brows.
"I want my crystal back" the blonde sighed.
"The crystal. The ugly orange one that you gave to Bonnie, because you didn't want it anyone?"
Caroline nodded and took a spoonful of her cereal.
"If you hate it so much then why do you want it back?" Veronica paused "you don't want it back. Damon does"
"I-I, Maybe" Caroline took another spoonful "I mean how did you even figure it out"
"Caroline Elizabeth Forbes" they laughed "I have known you since we were 3 years old, you're an open book"
"And your the only one who's ever managed to flip though all the pages" Veronica smiled as Caroline kissed her cheek.
"I gotta go" Caroline said as she grabbed her bag and went for the front door.
"Caroline! Caroline, hey! You barely touched your breakfast" Veronica called after her having no response causing her shove a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.
She continued to eat as their phone went off.
Stefan: Hey, Ronnie have you seen Elena?
Veronica: No, sorry 😐
She's probably at the police station about Vicki
Stefan: Thanks Ms. Lockwood🙂
Veronica: Pleasure is all mine Mr.Salvatore
One the other end of the line Stefan laughed and Veronica smiled before she took her last ate the last bit of her cereal and placed it in the sink, before heading upstairs to get changed.
••• Veronica walked into the grill and spotted Caroline alone.
"Hey, Care" the Lockwood girl greeted.
"Hey Ronnie" Caroline smiled.
"Where is it?" Damon asked causing the two girls to turn to face him.
