LOCKWOOD MANSION
Veronica woke up to a phone call from none other than Damon Salvatore. He asked if she wanted to go to Chicago to find Stefan to which she denied the offer not wanting to get into anything similar to the last time.
She walked towards her front door after hearing a knock. She opened the door to find Scott. He rushed into her home. "Are we over?"
"What?" She asked confused.
"Are we over?" He repeated.
"Why would you think that?" Veronica questioned him.
"Because you've been M.I.A, you won't answer my calls and-" he thought for a moment. "Is this about that Stefan guy? Do you have feelings for him?"
"What? No. What exactly are you accusing me of right now?"
He stayed quiet as anger ran through her veins. "Having feelings for someone else?" She asked her voice raised.
He once again didn't answer but this time he did say something. "If it's not that then what are you hiding from me?"
"Nothing, I just-" she paused. She didn't want to have to tell him about the supernatural. She didn't trust him enough for that.
"You know what I think we are done." He said slamming her door as her left.

FORBES RESIDENCE
Caroline sat in her double bed sucking on a blood bag with her mother in front of her and her best friend glued to her side, rubbing her back.
Veronica had recently learnt that Caroline's father the same guy who would giver her candy every time she saw him, harmed his own child. She felt horrible that she wasn't there to help her best friend.
"Thank you." Caroline said softly handing her mother the now empty bag. "Honey, your dad... all our families, we have beliefs that have been passed on through generations. And we were taught never to stray from them."
"You did." Caroline said.
"You taught me to look at things in a different way." Liz smiled.
"I just thought that he was the one who got me."
"He did. He will again." Liz told her daughter as Tyler approached. Veronica rubbed the blondes arm soothingly. "Hey, Mom. Thanks for believing in me."
"Would now be a bad time to give you crap about sneaking out on me?" Tyler joked causing Caroline to chuckle. "I'll leave you too to it." Veronica said kissing her best friend on the cheek before standing at the door watching Tyler and Caroline begin to cuddle. She smiled softly before leaving the room.
It made her think about how much she wanted a love like that. And she knew she wouldn't have that with Scott. But maybe one day she will.
Sorry for the really crappy chapter I hate to get Scott out of the story line for her and Klaus. Only one more chapter until they meet!!🎉
