THE LOCKWOOD MANSION

Veronica held her coffee cup tightly in her hand as she approached her bedroom door.

Veronica hasn't had a dose of sleep since the full moon. She was drenched in guilt ever since Kevin. She kind of felt like she deserved the pain. As a punishment for what she did. After last night Caroline had told her in was a risk for her to be there. That the bite of a werewolf can kill a vampire.

Veronica placed her coffee on a coaster on her nightstand. The coffee would for sure stain the wood.

She opened her white wooden closet doors revealing a gold mirror above a mini dresser filled with family heirloom jewellery and pictures. Clothes surrounding them. Obviously.

A shadow went across the room at the speed of light causing Veronica to gasp and turn around. "Stefan." She breathed out in relief.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He said.

"You don't have to check up on me." Ronnie said.

"Your right. But I wanted to. After your first full moon and all." Stefan stated.

Veronica's eyes widened. "How do you even know about that?"

"Caroline told me. Don't get mad at her. I mean it's only fair if you know my secret that I k so yours." The brunette vampire said.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you." Stefan broke the silence that quickly came upon them from his last statement.

"It's fine you don't owe me an explanation." Veronica chuckled light-heartedly.

"I wanna be there for you when you turn next time." The Vampire said.

"Thank you. But Caroline told me that the bite of a werewolf can kill a vampire." She looked tight into his green eyes. "So you even being here right now is a risk." Veronica said.

"That's not how it works it has to be on a full moon." Stefan corrected her last statement. "Yeah, exactly you just agreed with my point Stefan. I don't want to hurt you or kill you even. I couldn't even handle killing Kevin so what makes you think I can handle killing you-" she cut herself off and took a deep breath.

"Sorry. I'm rambling. How about this. I text you." He gave her a look. "I'll call you every full moon so you know that I'm okay."

"Yeah, I can cope with that." He smiled faintly.

"Veronica are you ready?" Her mother's voice called from downstairs.

She looked towards her door. "Almost done!" She called out to her mother. When she turned back around she found nothing. Stefan had left.

She sighed and looked at her closet and picked up a dress.

MYSTIC FALLS HIGH

Veronica walked onto the basketball court next to Jennifer Fell. The two in a deep conversation. Veronica did her best to befriend the grieving teenager to help her. Veronica understood grief because of her father so she told her the things she really wanted to hear not the crap people tell you.

She waved the red head goodbye as Caroline approached her. "Hey V."

"Hey Care." She smiled. "How are you feeling?"

"Better. Thanks C." The first period bell rang.

"Anytime." She linked arms with the raven haired girl as they made their way to English class.

THE MYSTIC GRILL

"You kissed her? And then left without the 'I kissed you and I don't want it to be awkward talk?'" Veronica asked her brother as they stepped out his car to meet up with Jules. Ronnie didn't want to go but Tyler insisted.

"Yes. And she flipped. What was I supposed to do?" Tyler asked.

"Not kiss her." Veronica stared the obvious. She was pretty annoyed that her brother wanted to be with her best friend. And quite frankly shocked. She always thought he hated her.

"Your not helping here." Tyler accused.

"Wait, I'm supposed to be helping?" She asked teasingly earning an annoyed breathe and chuckle.

"Thank you for coming." Jules greeted as Tyler and Veronica sat down in the booth she occupied.

"So what do you want from us?" Tyler asked straight to the point. "Just to be your friend." Jules said simply. "Mason would have wanted that."

"I know about Mason." Jules leaned forward and whispered after a moment of silence. "And the two of you."

"You know what?" Tyler asked the blonde woman. "I know you're a werewolf." She glanced to Ronnie. "And I know your little friend Caroline is a vampire."

"How do you know about Caroline?" Veronica chimed in at the mention of her best friend.

"You can't sniff them out? Oh, my god. You're brand new. Both of you. How many times have you turned?" She asked.

They both avoided eye contact scared they would say too much. "Hey." Jules reached out to grab their hands. "I can help you."

"I don't want your help." Veronica mumbled.

"Do you know where Mason is?" Tyler asked covering up his sisters comment. "He's dead, Tyler. He was murdered."

"No." Tyler denied.

"Do you want to know who killed him?" She pressed.

"No-just Stop." Ronnie denied. "Your little blonde vampire did."

"N-No. She wouldn't." Ronnie stammered. She was stunned to even hear something like that. She had know Caroline since she was 3 years old. They had been inseparable ever since. Caroline would never do anything that would emotionally harm her and vice versa.

"She and her little vampire friends were behind it, Ronnie." Jules pressed further on Ronnie nerve.

"Don't you ever call me that." Veronica said. "Caroline is the only vampire in town." Tyler said after his sister spoke to protect her. Not wanting Jules to snap at her.

"Is that what she told you? She lied. This town is crawling with them. Just ask your sister. She's friends with a couple. Aren't you Veronica?"

"You knew?" Tyler asked his sister raising his voice ever so slightly. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was trying to protect you." Veronica defended her actions.

"Don't worry. You can. We'll get them." Jules cut in.

"You will." Veronica snapped. "Who are you?" Tyler asked.

"I'm your friend. And Veronica's too if she changes her attitude towards vampires. There are others like us, and they're on their way."

The Steronica feels. 😭💕

So sorry I have updated in a while. But I decided it wasn't like Ronnie's character at all to hurt Caroline next episode because she's her best friend. No matter what she would never hurt her.

That also means Veronica is becoming more apart of the group now that she denied Jules' offer to join the pack.

This also means my heart is breaking just thinking about Ronnie and Tyler's relationship changing for the worse.
