Veronica had been told of recent events once more. Elena being a doppelgänger, the tomb vampires, Katherine possibly getting out and the witch they need to open it. All she could do is pray that she wasn't involved.

Veronica left several messages on Elena's and Bonnie's phones. The 2 had been M.I.A for hours.

"Hey Jeremy!" She called to gain the boys attention as they walked up to him. "Where is Elena. Care and I have been texting her and Bonnie none stop about dukes party."

"Uh, she went somewhere with Stefan." He answered. Caroline groaned "I am so not going to be one of those girls who just disappears because she has a new boyfriend." She walked away as she spotted Matt leaving the duo.

"Who is Duke?" Jeremy asked.

"A guy that graduated a few years back. He throws a party every time he comes back from Duke" Veronica answered.

"Wait, Duke goes to Duke?"

"No" Veronica laughed. "His names Bob or something, he's a ass. But he's buys beer, so you can't have it all." Jeremy laughed. "You should come"

"Uh, Yeah. I- - I don't think so"

"No, seriously everyone goes." She smiled "think about it"

She walked away.

Veronica stood next to Kevin talking before her left to get another drink and spotted Jeremy so she walked over. "Hey, Jeremy. So you came."

He nodded. "I did. I'm glad actually it's a lot of fun."

She looked around "a lot of fun being alone..." she trailed on receiving a laugh "no I came with Anna"

Her eyes widened "Anna? Elena told me about her. Where is she?"

He pointed towards the brunette "she really pretty" Veronica complimented her as she walked over.

"Hi. I'm Anna" she held her hand out "Veronica" she shook her hand. "I'll see you around Jeremy. Treat him well" Anna smiled.

She walked away no one in site as she felt someone grab her and bite into her neck. She screamed and struggled against their hold until she lost consciousness.

Elena, Stefan, Bonnie and Sheila walked out of the tomb. Elena's blood ran cold as she saw Veronica on the floor. "Ronnie!" She screamed and ran over to her. Stefan hot on her trail. Elena turned Ronnie's face to the right and immediately noticed the bite mark and the blood.

Stefan immediately bit into his wrist and placed it in her mouth. A gasp escaped her rosy lips. She coughed "that takes like crap" her laugh turned into a groan as she rubbed her head.

"What's going on?" She asked looking around confused.

"Do you Remember what happened to you?" Elena asked her. "I remember talking to Jeremy" she paused "and then Ben attacked me."

"Miss Sheila? Bonnie? What's happening?"

"We were at the tomb" Elena answered.

"What? Is Katherine out?"

"I'll tell you everything, okay? Just come to grams house with me" Veronica nodded. Stefan and Elena began to walk away. "Wait! Stefan?"

He turned around "thank you for saving me back there"

"No problem"

Veronica stayed with Bonnie at her grams home. Ever since her own grandmother died when she was 9, Sheila had always been for her so she needed to make sure she was okay. Bonnie made them tea and Elena called Stefan.

Currently Ronnie was sat with Elena around the table talking about the vampires and what not drinking tea.

Their conversation was interrupted by Bonnies pleading cries for them and her grams.

Elena and Ronnie ran into the room seeing Bonnie shake her grams violently sobbing. "She's not breathing! She's just not breathing! Please, wake up!"

Veronica ran out of the room and grabbed the phone. "Yes, I need an ambulance. To oaks street. It's an emergency, quick!"

She ran back into the room to see a sobbing Bonnie in Elena's arms. Her heart broke at the sight of Bonnie so vulnerable.

Sheila deserved better tbh.
