Season 3 ep 8; ordinary people
・・・・・☆Lockwood Mansion
Once again, Veronica was unable to sleep well as Rebekah keeps knocking on her window unable to get in without an invitation.
Veronica groaned grabbing her white and purple aztec designed pillow case from under her head to over.
"Sweets, come on!" Rebekah shouted, loud enough for Veronica to hear but not her mother who was sleeping soundly in the bedroom across from hers.
Ronnie groaned again before throwing the pillow aggressively beside her and looking at the cream coloured alarm clock reading the time. '5:30'
Veronica groaned a 3rd time before looking over at Rebekah who rolled her eyes.
Veronica threw her sheets off her body immediately feeling the cold air and began to wish she never existed.
She went over to her small walk-in wardrobe and got changed. Too tired to even noticed what she grabbed. She placed a hair tie on her wrist to tie her hair up and was out the door.

Mystic Falls High School
Veronica had made her way to school, the only place where her life was more normal.
She quite enjoyed it as she was clever, so she found the lessons easy. But recently her grades have started to slack and Alaric had noticed but kept her grades the same regardless.
Speaking of Alaric, she spotted him signalling her to go into his classroom.
She walked inside of it and he closed the door behind. "Can you come over later? I need your help with figuring out what the drawing from the cellar mean?"
"Yeah, of course." She nodded without hesitation.

The Saltzman Apartment
Veronica had met him at his place right after school. It was less suspicious if they went alone that together.
The two has spend about 15 minutes alone writing words like 'werewolf' , 'vampire' and 'full moon' in sticky notes to attach to the photos before Elena opened the apartment door without an invitation.
"I've got this Damon. If we can figure out a way to kill Klaus, Stefan will be free of his compulsion. So how does he look? He'll have to get over it. Call me later." Elena's voice rang through the echoey rooms of Alaric's home as she walked towards the hunter and hybrid who were in his kitchen.
Veronica sat on a stool around his breakfast island with a glass of water next to her and Alaric stood next to his fridge.
"Rebekah will come around." Elena said finally joining them in the room.
"You sure about that? Last time I checked you weren't number one on her list of favourite people plus that girls got a temper too and probably has the patience of a toddler." Veronica said sipping her water.
"Yeah, but on the bright side a thousand year old vampire, I'm sure, has learnt the art of patience." Alaric said sarcastically, agreeing with Veronica.
"She's a thousand year old vampire who's joined the cheerleading squad." Elena said before holding up her phone showing a text from Rebekah. "There's a whole different set of rules in play, Ric. I've got this."

Veronica began writing some more things on yellow sticky notes before sticking them onto more pictures.
"Your hand writing is freakishly neat." Alaric pointed out causing Veronica to smile before picking up a picture similar to Elena's necklace. "You texted Bonnie, haven't you? Cause I still think this one has got something to do with the original witch."
Before Alaric could respond Bonnie knocked on the door before opening it. "Hey there."
"Bonnie. Come on in." Alaric greeted.
"Got your message." She announced.
"Yeah, great. Uh... I'm sorry the place is such a mess. I'm obsessed." Alaric said leading her towards the pictures scattered over his table.
"Brought you the necklace that wouldn't die." Bonnie said hanging it over to him.
"That's great." Ric paused. "Are you okay?"
"Been better." Bonnie answered honestly.
"Listen Jeremy is an idiot. And I know this with certainty because I was once a Jeremy. Trust me. We learn eventually." He said before picking up a picture of the witches necklace in the form of a drawing. "So I've been staring at this image all day, wondering why it looked so familiar..." he trailed off picking the necklace up alongside the picture to show the similarity. "And Ronnie and I were right."
"It's the same design."
"Yep. Ric and I thought of it the second we saw it." Veronica said leaning against the table.
"So your grandmother said this necklace belonged to the witch that put the hybrid curse on Klaus, right?" Bonnie nodded. "This symbol is repeated all across the wall, and we've been trying to figure out what it meant. Now we know." Alaric said while Veronica wrote the word 'witch' in beautiful calligraphy before handing it over to the hunter. Who placed it on and held it up for Bonnie to see.

Old Lockwood Cellar
After this Bonnie decided to stay. Alaric then had asked the girls to help him bring down a desk and some equipment, the girls thought he was out of his mind. He was but it sort of made sense when they thought about it more.
In case he missed anything it would be right before his eyes.
The three got back to work after this, before texting Elena to fill her in and ask her what she learnt.
The youngest doppelgänger decided it was best to meet them there so that's what she did.
"Yeah. Filled on what we could." He explained before walking over to each drawing in the cave pointing at them individually. "Got vampire, werewolf, slaughter, mayhem, et cetera, et cetera."
"That's the white oak tree. That was used in the spell to create the vampires." Elena said shining her flashlight on it before shifting it in the room. "Which means that was when they burned down the tree, destroying the only way they could be killed."
"Okay, so tree, equals weapon, sort of, but we already knew that. What we're not sure about is this." He said pointing on a weird section of this story drawing. "We've got the witch symbol and what looks like a bleeding heart."
"Which I suggested was that she died, but we aren't entirely sure how she does." Veronica explained before Alaric continued. "Upside down figures usually signify death of some kind. Which links in to what Ronnie thought."
"Mikael killed the witch by ripping out her heart." Elena studied the drawings for a second growing confused. "But why is that one connected to the witch's death?"
"I don't know. We haven't gotten that far." Bonnie answered.
"Oh, my god." Elena gasped softly in realisation. "Rebekah doesn't know the real story."
