Avoiding

Noel's POV

" Mia, where is, Diya?" I asked Mia. I wanted to see her at once cause she was like hiding herself from me. She is not talking to me like she did normally before. Only some time when I ask her something she answers in a professional way. She doesn't appear before me until she is called. She comes early and leave the office at once she is done working. In a word, she is avoiding me. And I hate.

" I saw her in the lobby a while ago." Mia said and I nodded.

I walked out and found her talking with someone in phone. I waited for her to finish. I was looking at her. She was head to teo a beauty. But her inner beauty is the thing which made her more beautiful. Her innocence was a thing that will capture your heart but never think she is that naive. She turn into a tigress at once that what I realized when the other apprentices attacked her. She was unbreakable and didn't care or fear them though she was alone. She is strong and intelligent. And that's what made me more crazy for her. She got her own way to capture my heart and defeat me with just a stare. She got her own way to win my heart and soul. And I love this girl who made me crazy for her. I sighed.

And she is ignoring me from a few days that is irritating me as hell. I don't like that. I just hate to be ignored and I don't want her to ignore me. Hell!! I want her to love me like I love her. Am I making her confused!!! I don't know. I just don't want to interfere in her career. I know she is ambitious to her dreams. I just want her be successful. I didn't want to confess in this 6 months. But I think it will be hard for me.

" Oh, that will be great. Yeah, please send it." She said and hung up. She turned smilingly and found me. Her smile dropped and she gulped.

" In my cabin." I gestured her to follow me. She was following me silently. I checked her with the corner of my eyes. She was wearing a white jeans, blue shirt and white blazer on it. She was looking beautiful as always. She is a beauty there is no doubt on it. I opened the door and entered into my cabin and she followed me. I sat on my chair and gestured her to sit on one of the visitor chair. She sat there silently.

" Are you done with Heather's project? I need the final sketch." I said.

" It's done, sir. Will I bring it?" She asked me in a very very professional tone. I looked at her for a while and she kept looking at me without any expressions.

" Yes, please bring it." I said and she nodded then walked out without granting me another glance. I sighed. I stood up and walked towards the glass wall. I stood in front of him.

I was really frustrated with her behavior. I ran my fingers through my hair. She was acting like an alien. I was just confused. What's wrong with her suddenly!!! She was acting weirdly. I don't know why. I didn't even say anything to her. But she is acting so weird. What can be the reason!!! Is that just because of any family problem? Or something else!!! I need to know the reason behind her sudden change and weird acting. I will definitely find it out. Noel never gives up that easily. I thought for a second then took out my phone and called Rick.

" Good morning, sir." He said.

" Hmm, good morning." I said. " I need you to do something."

" Yes, sir." He said.

" Find out everything about someone." I said.

" Sure, sir." He said.

" Find out everything about Diya Goenka." I said.

" Yes, Sir." He said.

" And do one more thing." I said and he was waiting for the order.

" Sent a security team behind her without her knowing. Do it secretly. I don't want her to find it out." I said.

" Done, sir. Anything else?" He asked.

" Nothing for now. It's enough." I said and hung up. The next moment I heard a knock on the door. " Come in." I heard her.

" Sir, the sketches?" She said and I turned to her. She looked at me into my eyes.

" Ok, put them there." I said and she nodded. She was about to go but I stopped her.

" Diya?" I called her.

" Yes, sir?" She turned to me.

I looked into her eyes and found myself helplessly drowning into them. I hold myself back before I do something stupid.

" Is there anything that bothering you?" I asked taking steps toward her.

" Why are you asking this?" She asked me. I looked at her and she was demanding an answer.

" I don't know." I said and she looked away.

" I need to go, sir. I need to go I have a lot to do today." She said and walked out of the cabin.

That's it she is trying to ignore me. I went to my desk and took the file that Diya placed on my desk a while back. I found her sketches are perfect. Just like her. I kept looking at them. What's wrong with you?!!

I just sighed and started working. It was evening when I was done with my work. I walked out of my cabin and found Diya already left as I found her room was locked. I went out of the building and went to the parking lot. I about to drive out from there but I suddenly found Diya standing in front of the parking lot. I knew she was going home. I stopped in front of her. I opened the door and gestured her to get in.

" I will leave you." I said.

" I will manage." She said.

" Just get in. I won't eat you alive for God sake." I said totally frustrated in a pissed tone.

She didn't make it an issue about that. She got in and I started to drive away. Rest of the way was totally silent. None of us broke the silence. I reached her home. She went out of the car.

" Thank you, sir." She said and went inside.

That's it. She is avoiding me. I sighed. I need to do something otherwise things will go out of hands. I don't want that. Keep avoiding me, you don't even have any idea what is going to happen. I just smirked inwardly and drove away
