Golden Time

Diya's POV

" Hi, guys. I am Diya. Aradhya's cousin." I said to chhoti's friend.

" Hi, nice to meet you." One of them said and I smiled at the blonde girl.

" Hi, Diya." The nerd girl said. She was cute.

" I don't know any of your names. Chhoti I mean your Ari never talked to me about her friends." I said looking at those girls who are really charming.

" How mean?!! Haven't you talked about me too?!! I am going to kick you down from the rooftop, you bi*ch." Juliet said to Aradya and she shrugged.

I think she is her best friend. Cause, me and my best friend Kritika were always in this term. I sighed remembering her. She got married with her childhood Sweetheart Agni, 1 week before I came London last month. When she got married I was too tensed until every ritual had done completely. Cause, I left counting how many times they fought and broke up. But at the end of the story they were meant to be together. It was fun having a best friend like her. She was in her honeymoon. I didn't want disturb her. 3 days back she called me but I was in the meeting couldn't take the call. I wanted to call her but it was late night in India. Yesterday I wanted to call her but I was lazy too do so.

Selfish too. My brain mocked. I Sighed. I agree.

I am behaving selfish. I need to call her. After all she is my best friend. But awkward time zone matters. I get up in the morning then go to office. I work until I am finished all task. I kind of just work work work and only work. Turning into a robot. When I come back in the evening it's past midnight there in India. I am making accuses. I need to call her. That's all. I am selfish for not calling her that long. How can I!!!

Firstly I was out of my house and a bit messed, got messed in office in the first day, got punishment, got mountain of work. I needed to fix everything with myself which left me thinking nothing but focusing current situation. I need to carry her rages too. Can't help it. I am at fault here.

Suddenly I started to miss my best friend and family. I just wanted to resign and go back to India where my heart was. Uhh, I love my India. My home. Place of love, color, happiness and peace. I just wanted to go back home. I missed everything I used to do there. My college, my friends, my memories. Life was beautiful. Why have I chose to come here!!!May be it was my destiny. May be this is where I meant to be. May be there is something which will change my life. May be this is why I am here cause it was my fate. May be it is what was allotted for me.

" Where are you lost, Dee?" I heard chhoti shaking me by my shoulder.

" Just was thinking about Kritika and others." I said and she nodded with a smile." Come on, introduce me with your friends." I said.

" Sure. You already have met with this rude and arrogant stupid girl Juliet. I will introduce with others now." Chhoti said.

" Hey!!! It was you who was rude. You missed my birthday party, bi*ch. Do you think I will let it go that easily? You are going to meet my fist later." She gestured her fist at chhoti. She just winked at Juliet.

" Urrrghh, I hate you." Juliet said and stomped her feet.

" No, you don't." Chhoti said. " Ok, let me introduce you with them." She said. " This is Jordana. We call her Dany." She said pointing the tallest girl who smiled at me and shook my hand.

" I really wanted to meet you. Ari said you are very beautiful and talented. I think she was right for the first time in her life." Dany said and I smiled back.

" Thank you, Dany. Chhoti talk too much some time." I said.

" But this time she was right. You can see that." She said winking at me.

" Well, now this is Whitney. But we call her whiny call she always whines." Chhoti said pointing at the girl who had golden brown hair and deep green eyes. She was very beautiful.

" Nice to meet you, Diya." She said smilingly shaking my hand. I smiled back.

" This is Gabrielle." She pointed the cute nerdy girl. " Well, she has various names. We call her Brie, Elle and some call her nerdy." She said. I smiled as Gabrielle shook my hand smilingly.

" And this is Heidi." She pointed at the blonde who greeted me the first. " We call her as D. Simply." I shook her hand who had bright shiny blonde hair.

" And this is Romeo." Chhoti pointed at Juliet and all laughed.

" You are a real bi*ch." Juliet gritted her teeth and everyone laughed again.

" Nice to meet you guys." I said smilingly.

" Same here." Juliet said.

" Let's go. Practice is going to start soon." Dany said. All of them nodded and I sat at the corner of the field in a bench. I was waiting for the practice ends.

" Hi, good morning." I heard someone and turned my head found a guy standing there in soccer practicing attire. He came towards me and smiled. " Can I sit here?" He asked me and I nodded with a smile. He sat there and fixed his socks.

" Are you new in the school?" He asked me fixing his socks.

" I am not a student." I said shockingly. Do I look like a teenager!!?

" Oh, you left in between? Another dream you have?" He asked me still fixing his socks.

" I am an architect." I said and that made him stop and turn his face towards me. He examined me and looked at me shocked.

" Really?!!" He asked me.

" Why will I joke around with you?" I asked him.

" Then why are you here?" He asked in a suspicious tone.

" I came with my cousin." I pointed Aradhya.

" Who is your cousin? Dany?" He asked me.

" No, Aradhya." I said.

" Oh, snow queen?" He asked chuckling.

" You call her Snow Queen?" I asked. He nodded smilingly.

" Why?" I asked.

" Cause, she was the snow queen in the school's play." He said and chuckled.

" Do you always call her that?" I asked him.

" Are you crazy!! If I did that she would have killed me already." He said and I chuckled. " She is crazy girl. No wonder in this matter." He said and I chuckled. " Some time she is cute too." He said.

" Oh. Ok. What's your name?" I asked him confusedly.

" My name's Asher Milverton. Ask Ari. She is my classmate." He said. " It was nice to meet you but you didn't tell me your name." He said.

" Oh, sorry. My name's Diya. Diya Goenka. Nice to meet you Asher." I said.

" Same here but I gotta go now. Have my practice today. Hope we will meet again soon, bye." He said and ran towards the corridor.

" Bye." I said.

That really nice to meet all these people today. Feeling a bit better already and my my mood already changed. I smiled. School life!!! Golden time of life.
