Diya's POV

" Hey, Diya." I saw Philip. I was shocked seeing him there. " I am sorry. I was about to call you but you suddenly turned." He said to me as we bumped into each other.

" Oh, hi, Philip." I said totally confused. What was he doing here!!! " It's ok." I said rubbing my arm.

" How are you?" He asked me.

" I am fine, I guess. But what are you doing?" I asked him.

" Actually, I had some work here." He said.

" Which sort of work?" I asked him.

" You have forgotten that I told you that I am a journalist?" He asked.

" No, I haven't." I said. " What were you doing here?" I asked him.

" Taking an interview." He said.

" Interview? Of whom?" I asked him.

" Whose interview you think it can be?" He asked me. I was confused.

" I don't know. There is no celebrities here in the office or there is?!" I asked him. He looked at me weirdly and then chuckled.

" But there is a power couple in this office." He said.

" Power couple?!" I asked.

" Your boss." He said.

" Mr. Axton?" I asked.

" Mr. & Mrs. Axton." He said and laughed. " I said power couple, silly girl." He said and I smiled in my realization embarrassed.

" Yeah, I am sorry. I think I have a weird brain today." I said.

" It's ok." He said.

" So, Axton are really famous around?" I asked myself. He again gave me a weird look.

" You should have studied about them before applying for the job, girl." He said.

" I did. But I just looked for the basic informations." I said.

" Oh, ok then. But you should know you got a golden opportunity." He said.

" Yeah, I know that." I said.

" Make a good use of this opportunity." He said.

" Yeah, trying." I said.

" May be they make a long time contract with you or hire you later on." He said and I smiled.

" Will take that note." I said and smiled.

" Alright, I will be get going then and all the best, Diya." He said.

" Thank you and say hi to Lisa." I said.

" Will do that." He said. " Bye." He said.

" Bye." I said waving at him.

I took out my phone and called Gabrielle. I talked with her about the party and she said she will tell the others about the party and keep it secret. She agreed with me. So, we are going to surprise Chhoti tomorrow evening. I went back to Mr. Axton's cabin. I was about to knock but a voice made me startled.

" What are you doing here?" He said and I turned. I found him standing just two steps from me.

" I...umm..." I found myself lost words. They all stuck in my throat.

" Ok, let's go inside." He said and opened the door then let me in first and then he entered. He walked towards his desk and I followed him. He sat on his chair and gestured me to sit on the visitors chair. I sat on one of the chairs in front of me.

" What happened, Diya?" He asked me not looking at me. It made my heart sank. What happened to you!!!

" I .. I wanted to say something." I said. He looked at me for once and then looked away.

" I know what you want to say." He said and I was shocked.

" You know?" I asked totally confused.

" Yeah, I know you don't want to be with me." He said and I face palmed myself.

What!! I wasn't going to say that. I sighed visibly. Like really, Mr. Axton!!!

" I wasn't going to say that." I said and he looked at me. I felt his eyes can touch my soul. I gulped.

" You were not going to say that?" He asked and I shook my head.

" I was going to invite you for a party at our home tomorrow evening." I said and looked at him frustrated.

" Party for what?" He asked me.

" It's my Cousin's birthday tomorrow so we kept a birthday party for her birthday and I came to invite you. As you are my umm boss and I don't know much people here. I hope you can come." I said to him.

" I will come." He said and started working on his laptop. I don't know why he was again the cold Mr. Axton.

" I don't know why is he weird today." I mumbled.

" I am not weird. I am perfectly normal." He said without bothering to spare me a look. I mentally slapped myself for saying that loudly. " But you are weird today." He said kept typing on the laptop.

" Excuse me!!" I said. Me!! Weird!! How come I am weird now!!! I am not at all weird. It's him who is totally weird today.

" Yes, you are weird today." He said.

" Come again!! I am not weird." I said.

" Well, I told you to take 7 days off but you are still here. Your silly reason is to invite me in the party which you could have done by a text only, then you are waiting for talking to me for that long when a few days back you told me that you don't like me around you and started to ignore me. A few days back I needed to call you in my office just to see you and you always tried to run away from me and see now you finished talking a long back but still sitting here analyzing me. This what indicates that it's you who is weird not me cause I am always like this." He said and I realized he was right. I sighed and looked away from him.

" I am sitting here cause I am not done yet." I said and he closed his laptop. He looked at me deeply.

" Then start over." He asked me but I was wondering how to explain him. He kept looking at me for a while and then sighed visibly. He stood up and stood in front of the glass wall. I shook my head.

" Just go home, Diya. You need a lot of rest. Doctor said that. You must follow the instructions." He said.

" I am bored taking rest all the day." I said.

" It's necessary for you." He said.

" Why do you care much?" I asked him and he stayed silent.

" You really want to know?" He asked.

" Yes." I said.

" Leave it." He said and I walked towards him. I just stood next to him he looked at me for once the averted his gaze.

" You know Mr. Axton you are weird. But I kinda like it." I said and pulled him by his tie and  kissed on his cheek. His eyes widened at once and I smiled at him sweetly. " Tomorrow evening  don't miss it." I whispered in his ears and ran out of his cabin leaving him completely shocked. I was brave enough to do that!!?? It left me shocked as well.
