It was morning, the sun was just now peeking out from the hills that was behind the broken down house. The mother and child were still sound a sleep when I awoke from another terrible dream. I got up to stretch, the cold floor boards creeked under my bare feet, I hastily grabbed my belongings and started to head out the broken front door. 'Please don't wake up.' I thought repeatedly to myself. I finally made it out of the house and made my way through the tall uncut grass to sit on a broken rotten bench. I put my shoes on and begin to leave, as I stood up my head felt like a hammer repeatedly hitting me in the head. I tried to find the bench to sit down, but darkness over me.
'Violet don't leave yet. ...' The voice spoke as it began to drift away to silence. The void was so dark that nothing was to be seen, except for that warm aura from before. I once again reached for it, grabbing for the aura, it absorbed into my hands again. I finally awoke back in the house where the mother had placed a warm cloth on my head.
"W-what happend?" I stuttered softly as I tried to sit up.
"John found you in the grass."
'So that must be her son' I looked out the cracked window, the moon was high. I got up then she held onto my wrist making me sit back down next to her.
We got to know each other while I was recovering. Her name was Melissa and she was a single parent, her husband was killed in a fire. She told me he worked for the manor that was located on the outskirts of town.
When it was time to retire to bed, I went back to where I was before and laid there wide awake. They both went into the room were they first slept when I arrived. I couldn't sleep, as I laid there, I kept thinking of the dark void and the aura that absorbed into my hands. I looked out the broken window and saw the full moon hanging high in the sky by an invisible thread. It made me feel warm as I kept staring, as I looked around outside the window I noticed a shadow that seemed some what familiar. I got up from the torn blankets and stepped out of the old house, the shadow was moving, it was going behind a few trees. I heard soft sobbing from a young female, I approached her. She almost looks like - - - - Jessie?!? I placed my hand on her shoulder. Her head rose from her hands and looked up at me, with tears falling from her face. Then suddenly her tears stopped and she began to show no emotion. Jessie's eyes were now pitch black, like her soul was missing from her body. She whispered as she looked up at me, "Opet si omanuo, vrati se pre nego što bude prekasno. . . ." (You have failed once again, go back now before it's too late-English translation.-)
